With the Charlie Longsdon string in fine order, it would be no surprise to see the son of Getaway regain the winning thread. KING OF THE STORY has been in terrific form over fences this season, landing 3 out of his last 4 races. That does include a nice enough victory over Gone In Sixty at Warwick back in September. He jumped well that day and soon pulled clear to go on and win readily by 3 lengths in the end, getting a 5 lb raise in the weights in the process. His old rival is a little better off in the weights here but only ran a few days ago. Therefore, the in-form Polly Gundry winner comes into this as the fresher horse and in cracking form at present. With that being said, Gone In Sixty (if lining up here) will no doubt run very well once again. He was 2nd at Fakenham a few days ago, he was not that far beaten, and will no doubt run well in this contest. And Bertie Wooster is yet to win over fences but has placed on a few occasions and comes into this off the back of a wind operation. coming in at 2/25 odds? It's an each way on this one for me!
