LTO at Doncaster. As Legends Have It was back in fourth and 24 lengths behind this pick, but went on to win by 17 lengths on Monday at Stratford. I think that form could be really good.

I could make a case for a lot of horses in this race, but I think I'm going to stick with some good, solid Cheltenham form for this and hope that Jagwar continues to be the best here.

I really like this horse, and I think LTO at Cork suggested there was a lot more to give. I don't even think the jockey was trying to win, but surely we'll see his full potential here. Let's not forget JP O'Brien has won the last two iterations of this race; he knows what he's doing here. NAP

I think this horse might be slightly overpriced. If you compare its form against Manlaga at Haydock, it lost by just over 2 lengths but is gaining significant weight for that. I just think that with Harry Cobden on board this could be a bit of a value bet.

I could make a case for all the horses in here, as Steel Ally is probably the best jumper. But Lulamba is a super horse, and Henderson has been winning a lot lately. I have a suspicion they've prepared him for the Arkle. If I were going for anything sentimental, I'd go Kargese, as she's fun to watch and will definitely lead, but I'm not sure she will be able to defend against the challenges from the market principals. El Cairo's travels really well, and if he can sort his jumping out on the day he might be a massive danger coming up the Cheltenham hill. He just needs one day where it clicks, and I think this is good value. EW

Hard to ignore the Skeltons. This horse was fav in ante-post except for just narrowly losing last time out. I think the outcome of that race would have been different if they hadn't had to bypass the last fence and if Harry had pushed all the buttons slightly earlier. This race will reward those with fine, clinical jumping on a testing Cheltenham course. EW
