Although its last run didn't look good initially, it is possible that the soft ground was the main reason for the more than moderate effort. The run before looks excellent as both Air of Excitement (won at the festival) and Ballybow were two of the finishers ahead of it. That form is well above any from the others, and back on better ground should see a win.

A very consistent performer that needs something simple to change to get another win and today that could be the ground conditions which will be better than in recent runs with a bit of give underfoot. Has only its third run since coming back from a break so should be at maximum fitness.

I am quite keen on this horse for a number of reasons. The horse ran poorly at Dundalk last year when following a similar path to this year. Then it ran here at the Curragh over five furlongs, really finishing just behind Stag Night, giving that horse five pounds. Today it gets 11 pounds from Stag Night. Its run at Dundalk this year was more promising, and the horse is over six furlongs today, a distance it won over at Naas last year. The only issue is the draw, which often favors one side over another. Check whether the draw is advantageous before committing.

Has run four good races in its last four runs, and those have been over a variety of distances. Not sure whether two miles here is exactly what this horse needs, but the opposition is not really that strong in terms of ability. Although the course is quite a sharp course, it does feature a long, steep uphill finish, which may suit the horse as we know it has plenty of stamina.

I keep looking at this horse and wonder if it retains most of the ability that saw it finish runner-up in the Galway Plate in 2023 off 146 when Willie Mullins trained it. That run was on good ground over 2 miles 7 furlongs, and although the horse was down the field in the same race in 2024, that was off a mark of 153. Today is the first time since it gets the ground and the distance, and with the jockey taking off 7 pounds, the horse runs today off a mark of 139 (a stone less). At 50/1 against horses that lose more often than win, it could be an outsider to consider.

Put in a great effort last time when fourth over a longer trip of 3 miles. Back to two and a half miles and to the scene of its victory run two runs back, this horse must have a great chance of winning again despite being ten pounds higher in the weights.

This horse is unbeaten because it mixes speed with its super slick jumping. The horse has looked a natural over hurdles, and it seems it has the Henderson horse to beat. Hot Fuss is the only horse that has really franked its form so far this week, but I still believe in the horse. A plus is the horse is not ground dependent.
