He won last time out, which was at Newton Abbot when 3/1, beating both favourites on good to soft ground. He was also second previous to that, also at Newton Abbot, losing out to favourite Blackacre. Just A Memory will run a pound heavier for this race, which could work to his advantage. I think Just A Memory faced stronger competition in his last win at Newton Abbot. I think he is capable of a place today.

Lahire has placed in two of his last 3 races. His last race was at Carlisle, losing out to the two favorites by 3 furlongs. He is a decent each-way price at 25/1.

Dawn Coming is a promising 3-year-old gelding. He placed here on the 27th of June, so he knows this course well. Could be in the mix here today.

Won at Catterick and ParisLongchamp this year. Finished fourth last time out at Deauville. His last race at Newmarket was last year, finishing fourth. He runs well on any ground, winning on both soft ground and good to firm.
