Scottielove

Had an interest in Horse Racing for many years now, watching on the TV, reading the form, going racing and having a great day out, all of which are in my eyes superb. Have now taken the plunge and have some shares in a few, which again makes it even more interesting. The feeling you get when you have a winner or three is special and I do back all my tips. If you are serious about betting the best thing you can do is watch as much racing as you can, as this is the best way of studying form. If you can't afford to subscribe to the racing channels then you can always catch up with the racing replays on-line with At the Races, Sporting Life and Skybet all free once registered. Happy Punting!

I love to think Beraz can come home in front, but he has a long losing spell to overcome. Whereas my selection is on an attractive mark. He is twice a course and distance winner off marks of 77 & 80, and with Mason Paetel taking off 5lb, today's mark stands out at 77. Last seen 45 days ago after a 54-day absence, he finished a decent 3rd of 7 in a race where the form has been franked since.

What a great night of racing at Yarmouth with the return of The Racing League and plenty of value to be had in some very competitive affairs. My selection has been pretty consistent over a range of distances, 6-8f, and will like the ease as he did when 4th of 16 two starts ago at Carlisle. Has been off marks as high as 82, and with a 7lb claim tonight, the mark of 70 looks very attractive.

Where Daring Legend is exposed, you cannot say that about my selection, who is unexposed/progressive and only a 3-year-old who can put it up to the jolly. Was twice a runner-up in the first three starts before gelded and then had 154 days off. Was seen at Doncaster early June on handicap debut, upped in trip to 7f and finishing a very decent 3rd of 10, beaten 1.5 lengths. The winner that day has since run well in a class 3 and is now rated 88, so hopefully the Clive Cox runner can go well off an opening mark of 77.

With only 7 runners and bookies offering 3 places, it makes sense to have a look at this class 5 affair. Dereham gets in at the foot of the weights and is a course & distance winner, twice winning this race in '22 & '23. In '22, he was off a mark of 53 (taking into account a 5lb claim), and in '23, his mark was 54 with a claim. He tried his luck last year but could only manage 5th of 6 off 58. Today, he gets in off 52, which looks rather eye-catching, and the fact he arrives in form (one run this year, 2nd of 9) along with the Berry yard also in form, he makes each way appeal.
