Had an interest in Horse Racing for many years now, watching on the TV, reading the form, going racing and having a great day out, all of which are in my eyes superb. Have now taken the plunge and have some shares in a few, which again makes it even more interesting. The feeling you get when you have a winner or three is special and I do back all my tips. If you are serious about betting the best thing you can do is watch as much racing as you can, as this is the best way of studying form. My selection has only 7 starts winning twice and placed once. The most recent win was last Sept and that was the last time she was in this grade. After that success she has had 4 decent efforts and meets nothing of that calibre here.

My Honey B was mugged on the line by a fast finisher at Chester last month and off a 1lb higher mark today (63) must surely go close. That was a class 5 and with the drop back to a 6 she should take the beating. The last four times she contested class 6 handicaps was last Sept/Aug/July/Jun. 4th off a mark of 67 and the 3 times prior to that were winning ones off 65, 62 & 60. The mark of 63 today looks ideal and she can return to the winners enclosure for the first time since last summer.

14 days ago saw the Michael Wigham trained Summer Of Light debut over a soft Catterick 5f. The 2yo filly ran a race full of promise only fading close home to finish 4th of 8. What with it being her first race and the soft ground it was obvious she needed the run and is sure to have come on a ton for it. The better ground at Lingfield should be perfect and she looks a nice each way price.

All 5 starts this year have been good efforts (3 under Trevor Whelan) and he has not been beaten for. Trevor comes here tonight for the last race his only ride of the night and if my selection again shows consistency he can go close.

A slight concern that my selection has only won at Bath but with Hollie Doyle back on board I'm hoping Golden Phase can return to winning ways. Did win twice at Bath May/June (class 6) with the last of those off a Mark of 58. Was upped to 62 and class (class 5) when 2nd of 11 at Newbury, but that was over 11f and she did not look as effective over that longer trip. Back to 10f today, back to a class 6 and back to Hollie on top should do the trick. Is off of 63 today but with everything in favour except its not Bath indicates a bold show.

The Cowell yard are renowned for their sprinters and its noted that they travel a huge distance for the 67,000 Euro breeze up buy Lexington Blitz. Wouldn't have to be a world beater as he is only taking on 3 rivals and the outsider of the field could very well take this.

With the majority of the field out of form this on paper looks to be between two fillies at the head of the market. The John Davies trained 4yo showed glimpses of form in her first 8 starts but looked as though her time was near last month when a closing 5th of 10 over 5f. Earlier this month (18 days ago) they stepped her back up to 6f at Thirsk (class 6 handicap) and despite trouble in running against her 10 rivals she again stayed on well in the closing stages getting up close home. Has only a 3lb rise to cope with here and Sean Kirrane again can get her home in front.

Not often connections go from a maiden win (37 days ago) and then straight to a Group 3. Babouche was such an impressive winner of her Cork maiden (1st of 15 by 5 lengths) that she now lines up here looking for that all important Black Type. Two behind her on that occasion have since come out and won, and I feel her win can be marked up as she ran alone for the last couple of furlongs, running straight and true without any sign of greeness. She looks ready for this step up and should prove a tough nut to crack.

Alot of these are up in grade considerably for this huge pot but one that isn't is Kaadi. After winning a novice stakes at Windsor in April on her second start (finished 2nd on debut 12 days prior) she was stepped up in class to Listed level and has run very well in that grade the last 3 times. Versatile ground wise and she can go very close.

The Spencer 3yo has only had 6 starts (2 for the yard) with the latest 8 days ago on soft at Lingfield over 9f a winning one. Drops back in trip to 7f but with the underfoot conditions the same he is well fancied to go in again off 6lb higher. Not many of these are in form apart from Dashing Donkey and I was expecting a shorter price.

A well bred filly trained by Andrew Balding that hasn't set the world alight in 5 starts. Did show that she has ability when a staying on 4th at Bath 15 days ago. The 3rd won well at Salisbury on Saturday and off a low mark (receiving weight from all) she is a nice each way price. Note that Hayley Turner travels here for just the one ride.

I feel the D J Jeffreys runner is so well handicapped he is to hard to ignore. He is in here as a winner without penalty after going winning 10 days ago in a Market Rasen Conditional Jockeys Handicap Hurdle. Last year after winning for the first time hurdling he was rated 103 and today taking into account the 10lb claim of Cian Chester (rode him last time) he runs off 69. Must surely go close off such an attractive mark.

Never managed to get his head infront when with Brian Barr in 12 hurdle starts but did finish runner up 5 times. Changed yards and had one PTP start for Christopher Barber in Jan of this year at Larkhill when an impressive winner under the talented Will Biddick. Changed yards again and now with the emerging talent of Daisy Hitchins, and when seen in late May won on his first chase start. Still only 6 so plenty more to come and he could follow up here.

Forget my selections last run at Windsor as went slightly right at the start with Kieran Shoemark unbalanced and losing his stirrup, after which his chance was gone. Prior to that his 4 runa this year have all been pretty good winning once and placed 3 times. Carries top weight today but has run well off this mark of 89 and is 3 times a course and distance winner. He looks over priced and is a nice each way bet.

This very well bred Haggas 3yo colt won well on debut at Newbury in May before last month going close in what looked a good Novice at Newmarket. Both those efforts were over 10f and the step up today to 12f could very well unlock further improvement and could be another winner on this card for Tom Marquand.

Had some luck with a long traveller on Saturday and hopefully the same again Sunday. Archive Watson sends Regheeb his only runner on the card on a whooping 760 mile round trip. Was well beaten at Royal Ascot but reverts to an easier grade and this well bred 4yo should go close.

3 decent starts this in her second season. Twice 3rd placed before runner up at Kempton last month and connections roll the dice sending her on a 600 mile round trip. Connections will be disappointed if she can't break the maiden tag sending her so far north.

Steps up again today (14.5f) at this galloping Doncaster track which looks sure to suit and receiving weight from all 5 rivals she can break her duck.

Not see for 417 days so fitness to be taken on trust . Very well bred only seen the track 4 times finishing runner up three times before winning his last start. Gets into this his first handicap off such an attractive mark he can't be ignored. Not only receiving the 4yo allowance but gets a 5lb claim to see him off a feather weight. If he can't win off this weight connections will have to think again.

It was a 0-68 that Niloufar contested last month at Newbury finishing a close up 4th of 13 (5th has won since). That effort was on the back of 2 all weather wins so comes here in decent form. The 10f trip (0-60 so down in grade today) looks ideal and can go close at odds that are very generous.

I was keen on Isle Of Lismore but now a non runner it makes things easier for the Andrew Balding trained Equity Law. Looks to be quite progressive having won well at Sandown in April on his second start after being gelded. What seems to be his making is fast ground which he gets again this evening and looks sure to run well.

The ground when the odds on jolly won last time couldn't be any different tonight so I'm siding with So Sleepy who runs off a real competitive weight. My selection was last seen in a 0-68 (0-65 tonight so slightly easier) at Goodwood finishing 3rd of 9 off a mark of 60. She likes Lingfield having placed twice off of 55 which is her mark tonight taking into account the 5lb claim of Sean Bowen. He is great value for his 5lb claim and at 8/1 makes plenty of each way appeal.
