The best horse in the race. Usually doesn't mean much, but the Birkett team are small and proficient at Chelmsford. Ran well in the last three runs, winning once and finishing 3rd twice. Great odds at 5/2.

Probably the banker of the day in terms of bets. Although Gordon Elliott is having a torrid time, Wodhooh did the business when it mattered for the poor old man. With Lossiemouth having gone for the Champion Hurdle and won it, Wodhooh has been left a much easier assignment today.

La Conquiere looks like a good shout today, especially at the price. The favorite is way too short-priced to lump on, although he is the class act in the field. There are a couple of good prices to pick from. I'm certain this one will place in the top 3, and with extra places available, strike while the iron is hot.

Without having to say much, he's the class act in this race. Good odds, and although Skelton's charge in Katieria will give him a good run at the end of the race, if Storm Heart jumps fluently and avoids the traffic on the bends, he'll be bang there.

Kitzbuhel didn't do so well last time out and probably cost him in the odds stakes. The problem is he's just as good as any other horse in the line-up, and the price is way too high. I expect him to at least finish in the top 3, with the extra place in 4th as insurance for a fast closer.
