It wasn't that long ago that it was proclaimed that Emma was going to take over from Coco, Jessica, Maddison, etc., as the next American superstar and future number 1. Since then, she has toppled out of the top ten and has performed poorly overall. Can she win this match? Probably not. Amanda is currently doing well.

It's all happening in the USA. A few big tournaments, then a few small tournaments. Tommy has found himself slipping of late. He was in the top ten but now is out after a few poor tournaments. He really should win this match and the whole tournament, but we'll see if his confidence is dented now.
19:00 Sofia Kenin vs Anna Kalinskaya

Jesus, what's going on here? Sofia, who has been in the outer planets' orbit for years, has made some big kills in this tournament. Based on that, she should win this match too. She can also look at Madison Keys' form after winning a Grand Slam and say she's got the curse, just like me. Winning a Grand Slam in women's tennis used to mean a long stretch at the top of the tree, but Sofia, Madison, etc., show that it could mean the exact opposite.
