Well-bred Night of Thunder filly who finished 3rd to current market leader Precise in the Fillies' Mile to finish off her 2-year-old campaign. Convincingly won a Group 3 mile race at Lonsdale 3 weeks ago to start her 2026 season. Yard is in form and goes well here.

Well-bred Frankel colt. Comfortable winner of the Craven Stakes last time out. The Craven is a good form guide for this race too. Well drawn, yard in very good form,and Oisin Murphy in the saddle. Looks a good value each-way price.

A consistent sprint performer in and around this grade of race. Switch of yard to Clive Cox is a positive and he does well with first-time runners joining him. Although Shagraan did start out with Clive before moving to Mick Appleby. Race conditions suit. Well bred and yard are in good form.

A consistent performer in this grade and over marathon trips. Has placed here in a good-quality graded hurdle race and won a Grade 3 chase at Ascot under similar conditions in November last year. Looks a good price for an each-way play.

Previously won a Listed mile on soft ground and last time out finished third in a Group 2, 10-furlong race here. Well-bred 4-year-old Frankel filly. Yard in decent form and go well at the Curragh.

Won this race last year and goes again this year with a quick 8-day turnaround since a 2nd place at Bellewstown. Almost identical prep! Last season also won again over 5f at the Curragh from a rating of 74 before going down by less than 2 lengths from a rating of 81. Handles soft ground. Potentially still on a very workable mark.

Finished 3rd in this race two years ago and warmed up for this year's edition with a 3rd-place finish in the Midlands National at Uttoxeter. Consistent performer in good-quality marathon chases. Has race conditions to suit and the yard is in form.

Unsurprisingly, plausible cases can be made for many of the runners here but Oscar's Brother is a well-bred, consistent performer in quality graded races at 3 miles. Won't mind the scheduled rain and at the prices is an appealing each-way bet against the top of the market.

2nd in the Sun Racing Plate Handicap Chase at Cheltenham. Was narrowly in front 3 out before weakening. Taking on the reopposing Cheltenham winner Madara on a flat track with an 8 lb swing in the weights makes him an interesting proposition.

Very much a bet at the prices but Jasko Des Dames has twice finished 5th in the Grand Annual Challenge Cup at Cheltenham. Aintree is a flatter course than Cheltenham and this is an easier race too. If running to his Cheltenham form on a flat course, he should at least be competitive.

Well drawn for a yard in form. Trainer and jockey often combine well, especially at Pontefract. Won a Class 3, 5-furlong handicap race at Newcastle in November. Got buffeted when attempting a repeat in December. Has often struggled to see out his races at 6 furlongs, so starting the season over the minimum trip looks ideal.

7th in this race last year with a decent run from off the pace on soft/heavy ground. It is better ground today and should suit better. Has run pretty well in a couple of Grade 3 chases this year on yielding ground and switching to a more prominent running style. Needs to find a couple of lengths on last year's performance for the each-way return but the yard is in good form and with Jack Kennedy on board looks underappreciated in the market.

Has struggled as a chaser. However, over hurdles and going right handed there's a different story. In March last year was beaten a quarter length here, same grade and over the same trip. Likes better ground and yard have a knack of producing the goods when turning runners round quickly.

Likes soft ground and has won at Fairyhouse. Two wins at the trip over hurdles and a second-place finish in a Grade 3 chase over 2½ miles at Punchestown. With race conditions largely in his favor and the yard in form he should be competitive here today.

Has had two goes over course and distance. Finished 2nd in this race last year and followed up with a 4th place in the Northumberland Plate. Also ran a good 3rd at Chester in a Class 2, 2-mile handicap in September. Definitely gets the trip. At five years old might just have the legs on a lot of the older horses turning out here today. Well drawn too.

Two runs on the all-weather this year. Both runs saw Lakers beaten by half a length into 3rd place. Re-opposes the current market leader Pocklington here but with a 4 lb swing in the weights. At the very least, should be competitive.
