2 wins and a place from 6 starts, including wins at 9 and 10 furlongs. Has been tried at Listed level but so far hasn't proven up to that level. Has the stamina for a heavy-ground mile. Yard are in good form and are generally competitive in handicaps at the Curragh.

5 runs over hurdles have produced 2 wins and another 2 places. Won last time out and stepping up in trip today. Well bred, yard in form and they often go well in this race while not quite getting the wins. Decent price to be competitive.

5th in this race last year and now with Gina Andrews on board. Gina has a very good record in hunter chases around Cheltenham. Eighteen races have produced five wins and a further three places. Shearer was competitive right up until the end of the race last year. Does a specialist hunter chaser jockey give him the edge to go at least a couple of places better? At the prices, it feels worth a shout.

Famous last words but this looks quite open. Gaelic Warrior was 2nd in the Irish Gold Cup at Leopardstown and Firefox was 4th. It's often a key form race for this one and I don't think the four lengths between the two runners warrants the price discrepancy in the market. With a lot of form, staying and jumping questions elsewhere I think Firefox is a decent price to be competitive at the business end of the race.

Doctor Steinberg sets a good standard but isn't an interesting bet. Mullins' other French-bred son of Doctor Dino is more interesting. He likes to race at the front and has good stamina in the family. Stepping up in trip and grade are both interesting moves. He should be competitive.

A decent performer in Ireland for the previous yard, Sticktotheplan won an ok Grade 2 Novice Hurdle at Chepstow on yard debut back in October. A couple of sub par performances in graded races then a windop with a near 14 week break is interesting. Yard are clever with their wind ops, has dropped in the ratings and if the surgery brings about improvement then could be competitive at a bigger price.

A decent enough performer on the flat as a 3-year-old, French-bred Kai Lung's debut over hurdles was a comfortable enough win at Naas back in January. He finished nearly three lengths ahead of Saratoga who subsequently came out and won the Fred Winter Juvenile Hurdle on the opening day of Cheltenham. It could all be about which Mullins runner follows Selma De Vary home. Kai Lung looks underappreciated here.

Has place form at the course from 2024 when finishing 2nd over shorter in a novice hurdle. Has generally performed better since stepping up to 3 miles and is versatile on the ground. Just held at Naas last month over 3 miles on heavy and shouldn't want for fitness.

Decent run at the Festival last year in the Albert Bartlett Novice Hurdle. Will like the forecast rain. Comfortably won the Cleeve Hurdle on soft ground last time out. The Cleeve is a key form race for this one. Squeaks an each-way price.

Jade De Grugy back over hurdles is interesting, as she's a solid performer in this grade. The forecast rain for Cheltenham makes Feet of a Dancer a bit more interesting than her current price suggests. She can operate on good ground, but her best form has come on softer. Beaten over 2 lengths on good to yielding by Wodhooh the rain might just give her the edge.

A good ground horse who finished 13 lengths behind Oscar's Brother in a Grade 2 on heavy ground last time out. Oscar's Brother was a creditable 4th in the Grade 1 Brown Advisory at the Festival yesterday. Gold Dancer is also dropping back half a mile with a useful claimer on board. Looks underappreciated in a pretty open market.

If you're going to back a mare in this race then you probably want to go in on one that won the mares bumper at the Dublin Racing Festival. Moonverin's win in that race was pretty gutsy. She's well bred and looks good value for an each way bet against the top of the market.

Dropping back in trip from a heavy-ground 2½ miles last time out is going to be appreciated. The 11-day turnaround might be a bit sharp. Beat Majborough back in December and has beaten Il Etait Temps previously, too. At the prices with conditions to suit he looks worth an each way play.

Interesting that Jack Kennedy has jumped ship to Ballyfad who finished a short head 2nd to Talk the Talk last time out. Talk the Talk was well beaten the Supreme so I'm not sure the form stacks up right now. Skylight Hustle was a good winner of what looks a decent running of the Future Champions Novice at Leopardstown. Stepping up a half mile in trip is a bigger ask but at the prices makes a more appealling each way bet.

French bred import for Willie Mullins. On jockey bookings is the first string. Was 2nd on debut for the yard before an easy win in a nothing race last time out. The second in that race has since come out and skooshed a class 3 hurdle. Not sure any of the other main contenders have actually beaten that much either and Leader Dallier is a decent each way price.
