Withabitofluk looks on a very fair mark when all bumper and maiden form is taken into account. He came back from a year off 25 days ago and was ridden more mdfield than usual prominent position, he looked in need of the run. His win came on this sort of ground, as was his fair 4th over CD in a very hot maiden that has produced winners since. From a top yard and cheekpieces go on for the first time, with O'Keefe taking over in the saddle. If that recent run has bought him back to his best he could win this. Looks sure to be more asked of him today than last time. The offer of 22/1 makes him good EW value wirth a 5 place payout offered all round.

Indiana Jones' wins have all been at today's trip, one over CD. The 10??'yo has never won beyond 2 miles. Since the back-to-back wins in 2023 he has raced intermittently over hurdles and fences, mostly over 2m4f and 3m, and has had genuine excuses at times. His handicap mark has subsequently dropped significantly. His last run three weeks ago in the Topham showed how much ability he retains. He was bang there two out before getting outstayed by rivals rated higher than anything he faces in this. That run was from out of the handicap, and he was given a peach of a ride by O'Callaghan, who rides again today, claiming 5 lb. He likes to race prominently, and that will be to his advantage in this large field. He gets the ground, and 33/1 generally available offers some good EW value.

Quntia Do Lago ran a solid race at Cheltenham last time and has had a 50-day break to freshen up. He gained two wins last year at 2m (one at this track) and appeared in both as if today's longer trip would suit him well. He is only 4yo, and there could be plenty more to come from him yet. In what is a trappy handicap, he looks the value call at around 8/1 EW.

Touch Me Not has earned a chase mark of 152 and has not been seen over hurdles since winning in April 2024, so he goes into this on a 17 lb lower mark than his chase form. He jumped hurdles fluently, so should run his race today. The 7-year-old likes to go from the front, and that could prove an advantage in this big field. He has a win here and otherwise good course form. The distance and ground are also ideal for him today. He was set a stiff task under an apprentice last time but has otherwise been in good form this year. Jack Kennedy takes over today, and he is unexposed off this mark over hurdles.

Kocktail Bleu has some proven form at this level and is still progressing. His only runs when not showing his best were on soft over further at Newbury and on heavy 2m at Kelso. His most recent two runs (both good to soft) were 2nd at Kempton and a win at Newbury last time, for which he gets no penalty and showed his true potential. The better ground today can help him progress after he finished 2nd at Kempton on his only run on good to a rival now rated 146. A reproduction of that run gives him strong claims. The stable also runs Cosmic Collection, but the value looks to be with the selection. 11/1 with 5 places paid out.

A Little Something has had just two chase starts and ran into bad luck on both when going well. His penultimate start saw him sprawl on landing being being quickly PU afterwards to be saved for another day. That day looked like it may come on his latest start 25 days ago until he was hampered and spooked by a loose horse at the 11th, he dropped back to last but got right back into contention until tiring late on. That made it his first completed start after 281 days off and he will be fully primed for today.

Star Vantage takes a drop in trip today, and whilst he without doubt has ability, connections have not yet found the key to him. The 9yo ran a big race at Market Rasen over 3m (Class 2) on the penultimate start, before finding 3m3f too far last time. Maggs is back on board today and claims 3 lb. He also has a first-time visor, and all the signs are he will be giving everything in this. A repeat of his Market Rasen run ought to be enough over 2m4f today on ideal good ground.

Gone With The Tide has PU on last three starts all on soft ground. His run before those was on good at Carlise, a testing track over 2m3f where his stamina was lacking to see out the trip. He has tumbled down the weights and returns to better ground today. He went well for a long way last time after 3 months off on soft before he was PU and this is his second run following wind surgery, so back on a quicker surface he should finish his race today and if he can repeat his run when 4th in April around this easier flat track he has every right to be there come the business end of the race. At 40/1 with Bet365 and a 5 place payout there is some good EW value about him to turn things around today.

Mind Hunter went close at this track twice in 2025: over 3m good to soft hurdles when hampered at 2nd last (goes off the same handicap mark today), and then 2m on the flat good (staying on). The hurdles run came following a similar break to the one he has had now, so he does go well fresh. He ran well enough in all but one of his other five starts last year, even without ideal conditions. Today the trip should prove perfect for him and the drying ground ideal. Harry Atkins is booked to ride and takes off 7 lb, so he has very little weight to carry. A combination of his liking for this track, stamina, and flat speed makes him a very serious challenger in this, and at 14/1 can be backed EW.

Kilmore Rock PU twice on good to soft before having a two-month break and running a solid race over 3m at Musselburgh a month ago. His hat-trick last spring was all on good ground when making all each time. So today's sounder surface will be in the front-runners' favour. He's back below his last winning mark. The CD winner also gets another 3 lb off from his rider. If he can take it from the front today and repeat his most recent effort, he could catch them all out and is capable of winning this.

Answer That makes his handicap debut off what could prove a fairly lenient handicap mark. He ran 3rd behind two horses last time over CD that were rated far superior to his current mark. Whilst finishing 18L behind them, he was not given a hard race and was never really put into it. He certainly looks capable of improvement now after gaining more experience with that run two weeks ago. This is a weaker race and he does well at this venue. He looks good each-way value at 12/1.

Hang On came back from a mammoth 837-day layoff a fortnight ago and was tenderly ridden out the back until being asked for a little bit more in the closing stages. He stayed on well enough to suggest the run would have brought him forward. Oscar Palmer takes over today and, as well as being dropped 3 lb for that last run, he takes off another 7 lb. He has a 36% SR rate for this yard. While there are better-rated horses in this race, none of their form has been really franked, and the 7-year-old mark could prove to be a very lenient handicap mark in this. He looks sure to do better than his comeback run, and that should see him in the mix at the business end.

Sandscapes' best two efforts over hurdles were on good ground last year. Four starts since then have seen him race on soft or good to soft and he failed to show his best. He made his chase debut at Ludlow last time and went off favourite. He showed he could jump a fence well that day, but again it seemed the ground found him out. He should improve for this second run in a chase, and with the ground riding quicker at Bangor today we look likely to see the best of him again. Cheekpieces go on for the first time and they will help the 6yo concentrate. He has enough ability to win a race like this and is good value today at around 12/1.

The 5yo has won three hurdles, the best a Class 2 at Ascot 2m good in March last year. Runs since were following breaks and excusable before winning again at Huntingdon 2m good to soft in December. Likes to front run and on this ground at a RH fast track he has enough ability to stay at the front and win. The risk is how fit he is, but the run at a stiff Exeter last time saw him go well before tiring late on and the jockey stopping quickly. The price is long enough for EW.

His best runs have been on good ground, and today's trip is ideal for him. He was unlucky not to win the Class 1 at Newbury in March when he was very badly hampered early on. After a good 2nd at Cheltenham next time, he had a 296-day break before returning in February on very heavy ground at Warwick. He ran well again a month ago at Kempton when 3/13 behind two progressive sorts, and that will have put him spot on for this race.

His latest start at Cheltenham he was always going to be outclassed, but a big day out for the owners. Back to serious business with the 9yo today. A course winner who has also won at this trip looked in both those defeats to today's rivals that slightly quicker ground and the extra furlong will suit her even better. Hans Lippershay showed some solid form in three hotly contested bumpers on good ground last year before going over hurdles. (Mostly in better races than today's.) He has not been a naturally fluent jumper, but it had improved when last seen at Fakenham a month ago. He's on a very good mark based on his bumper form, and if his jumping improves again today then he looks to have enough ability to win a race of this class, which is the lowest-grade hurdle race he has run in. Extra distance and better ground will also aid the cause, and at 9/1 he is good each-way value.

Stylish Recruit came back from a 66-day break with a return to hurdles 22 days ago, which would have sharpened him up for today. He never really took to chasing last year, apart from one good round at this track. He has won here previously in a Class 3 hurdle and is now down to a very good mark in this sphere. He will act on the ground and will have no stamina issues, having won a 3m point. Many rivals in this do not have the optimum ground or trip today, and he looks well placed by connections.

Muroor is a speculative bet today, but he should not be at odds of 100/1 for this event. He was beaten just a neck over CD in May last year on good ground (Dr Shirocco was 8 lengths behind him). That was after finishing 5 lengths fifth over CD the time before on good to soft. His next start came too soon. One below-par run, then his last two starts have been on very slow ground. He is 13 years old and out of the handicap, yet still has claims on those last two CD runs. The race lacks strength in depth, and plenty of these rivals have something to prove. If he puts his best foot forward today after being freshened up from a break and returned to optimum conditions, he will not be far away. With a five-place payout he has to be worth an each-way try at the price.

He is better suited by less testing conditions, which he will get here. He tried to make all last time and, whilst staying on well, could not hold on. Man Maid, 5yo, ran his best race last time when stepped up to 2m4f under today's rider, who is able to claim 3 lb this time. He steps up again to 3m here and is unexposed at this trip. Breeding suggests that today's distance will suit. In a race that lacks strength in depth, he could prove the surprise package and has the potential to give the short-price favourite the most to do if building on the run 17 days ago. 14/1 offers some fair each-way value.

Divas Doyen was not disgraced on the penultimate start when well out of the handicap in a Class 4 following a nine-week break, and then found the ground too slow on the latest start. Otherwise, the 9yo was fairly consistent last year when the ground was good or good to soft drying ??" conditions he will have today. Back down to his last winning mark from March last year, he has run well at this track before. With a rider who does well for this yard taking off another 5 lb, and his last two wins having been with a claimer, the race should be run with plenty of pace, which will suit the 9yo who likes to come from off the pace.

Prairie Diamond is just 2 lb higher than the last win, which came over CD six starts ago. BF next time then had a year off. UR on return to action and then ran well in Dec and Jan before having wind surgery and a 54-day break. Was then raced at Taunton 23 days ago under a rider having just his second ride under NH rules. He was kept wide and was an educating ride for both horse and jockey. Ground, trip, and track are ideal today, and Morgan takes off a handy 5 lb. We should see a better effort today, and the horse has enough ability to get in the frame at least.

Top Flight Century won over CD on good to soft has also won on good at same trip at Perth. (PU last time but yard said ground was riding softer than described and he was not suited by it.) Progressive at this trip and the drying ground will aid the cause. McMenamin who gets plenty of winners here takes over in the saddle and yard have 30% SR here, his first ride for them. 10/1 makes the 5yo worth a solid EW bet.
