Certainly one of the most interesting duels of this round in Melbourne, Musetti is the favorite here on the pipir but Sonego has a lot of quality, after all, their previous duels have been very uncertain, especially in the Grand Slam where they will play 3 sets at least, so over games are a very real option.

Nakashima comes to AO after losing to Medvedev, where he didn't really have much of a chance. But Nakashima is showing great form, so he is definitely a favorite against the Dutchman. On the other hand, Zandschulp is considered a very tricky player who could take the scalp of even the best players from Nakashima, so I expect a match with a lot of games.

Interestingly, Djere is not set as a favorite in this first round of the AO, even though Wawrinka is already in his later years and mostly appears via invitations. Age has certainly taken its toll. Djere is unpredictable in any match, but I think he still has more energy, especially since a minimum of three sets are played.

A very interesting clash right at the start of AO. Bautista comes with slightly weaker form before the start of the season, but his vast experience cannot be disputed. Shang is below 300 in the ATP rankings and should not be the favorite in this match.

Another one of the more interesting duels of the first round at AO. Arnaldi finished the season at 65 on the ATP ranking and was already a very difficult opponent in the first round. Rublev looks much more stable at the start of this season and is definitely the big favorite, but we know about his mental problems. So an over in the first round is definitely the best choice.
