This selection has been predominantly racing over hurdles for the past couple of years, apart from a flat run last time out where it faded in the final stages. I think this horse should have carried on with flat racing. A winner of 2 from 6 races plus runner-up in 1 of those, it has won on heavy ground and good ground, so it's versatile. If that comeback flat run has primed him for this second show, then he could pose a threat.

Even though it was behind the current favorite last time out, that comeback run can now see an improved effort under today's rider, who only seems to win over this C & D. The only downside is he doesn't usually string two wins together and won LTO.

Has really improved from running on good ground to getting a bit of cut on soft when winning a 20-runner event over C & D on New Year's Day. Placed third next time out on heavy ground, both runs under today's rider Kieren Buckley, who is having a great season with a 40% s/r in recent weeks. Weight is on the up by 4 lbs, not enough to stop another close effort, and looks a good time to get counting the money.
