Bovey Belle has a stayer's pedigree, by Nathaniel out of a French 12f winner, but this filly has barely beaten a rival in 11 runs. Most of those runs came over 10f or longer, and she was well beaten each time. She had a couple of runs over shorter, once over a mile and one over this course and distance. She was still well beaten; these two runs were her closest finishes to the winner. Given her huge price, she might be worth a little each way. In her previous course-and-distance run she showed good early pace and led until fading inside the two marker.

But she has one of the best pedigrees of those on my list. So even with her poor draw, I'm sticking with her. Even if today isn't her day, I will be very disappointed if this filly doesn't win her fair share of races this year.
