This should be between the current favourite, who has the form advantage, and two nice-looking newcomers. I'd take Jarrett in this race to make a winning debut. His dam took until her third run to break her maiden, but she went on to 18 total wins, including at Grade 2 and Grade 3 level. This colt has posted some solid workouts. Whatever he does today, he will win races this year, and given his pedigree his sights should be on better things in the future.

She needs to find her bumper form from last spring but looks worth taking a chance on now that she's in handicaps.

As a second choice for this race, I'd take a little each way with Toomuchforme. This filly looked a fairly useful juvenile for Karl Burke, but she never progressed in two runs as a 3yo and was let go by the Burke team. She has had five runs for her new handler but has beaten few rivals, and her handicap mark has dropped from 81 to 64 in those five runs. The thing that might see this filly outrun her huge price is the drop to 5f. She has shown up early in most of her runs over 6f??"7f, but this is her first try over the minimum trip.
