20:00 Greece v Italy

Italy

Greece are difficult to beat at home, but Italy will endeavour to win this to boost their morale, which is at a low having been eliminated from the World Cup finals for the third competition in a row.
20:00 Las Palmas v Malaga

Malaga

50 WIN

@+259

Win

130

The teams closed the season tied on points. However, I do think that Malaga have fared better against the more affluent sides and I anticipate a win from them.
20:00 Morocco v Norway

Draw

An interesting game, and Morocco could win this fixture. But for now I think they will hide their ability and settle for a draw, as they have strong claims to finish in the top positions in the World Cup finals.
19:45 Croatia v Slovenia

Draw

I don't think that this game will have a win result, as both teams have been lacking good form recently. As a friendly, I think they are gauging the ability of their players.
17:37 5:37 Perth

Maillot Blanc

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@+1600

Lose

-50

The race appears fairly open, and one which catches the eye is Maillot Blanc. He won his last race at Kelso following a promising second at the course in his penultimate. I think he can do the double.
17:30 Denmark v Ukraine

Ukraine

An interesting matchup, and I think the books have it wrong here. Ukraine, unfancied against Poland, easily beat them, and I think a repeat performance is imminent.
17:20 5:20 Goodwood

Serenity Dream

Daily Racing

The race appears open and many have chances. I like Serenity Dream, who ran on strongly to finish just on the verge of the places in fifth, but a few strides further went past the front lot. Another such finish sent earlier may take home the honours.
17:02 5:02 Perth

Wasdell Dundalk

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@+2000

Lose

-50

Wasdell Dundalk scored back-to-back seconds last year in the June/July period at the course and disappointed since. We are in that period again, and we may see a better run this time.
16:45 4:45 Goodwood

Arabian Crown

Daily Racing

The Dubawi progeny Arabian Crown is a winner of five from only ten starts with three placed efforts. The Charlie Appleby inmate will be ridden by William Buick and looks a strong winning prospect.
16:27 4:27 Perth

Statuario

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@+700

Lose

-50

The Bowens take on the Skeltons here in my opinion. I think the last win by the Bowen-trained Statuario was impressive enough to repeat, with Sean Bowen taking the ride this time.
16:10 4:10 Goodwood

Maxident

Daily Racing

50 WINNB

@+300

Lose

-50

The top three on the betting boards appear to have this race to themselves. I anticipate a winning run from Maxident as a follow-up to his last run, which he won with plenty in hand.
15:52 3:52 Perth

Garde Des Champs

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@+900

Lose

-50

Garde Des Champs finished behind Newtown Rambler but was running on and should bounce back to her better self of last summer when she won convincingly over this course.
15:35 3:35 Goodwood

Plaid

Daily Racing

There is plenty of good form in this line-up. Plaid has consistently finished in the first two recently, with two wins and two second-place finishes. I think they will contest this finish.
15:17 3:17 Perth

Just Dottie

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@SP

Lose

-50

Just Dottie raced with success last year at the course, winning two races back-to-back in the April??"May period. She had a good prep run recently, which would have brought her on.
15:00 3:00 Goodwood

Beach Ahead

Daily Racing

A small line-up but a competitive one, and all have chances. I fancy a big run from Beach Ahead, with Hector Crouch teaming up with the Moore stable, who are in good form recently.
14:25 2:25 Goodwood

My Aali Baba

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@+450

Lose

-50

My Ali Baba was an easy winner on debut and is the only winner taking on a line-up of Aidens. Saffie Osborne retains the ride, and that's a big plus.

17:18 5:18 Nottingham

Hint Of The Jungle

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@+450

Lose

-50

This appears to be a race between two runners. The favourite's the one to bet. My fancy, Hint Of The Jungle, is ultra-consistent with two wins and three seconds from her last six runs.
16:48 4:48 Nottingham

Mudita

Daily Racing

50 WINNAP

@+650

Lose

-50

Mudita has only run twice, but she showed that there will be plenty more coming from her after winning her last race. She improved over six lengths on her debut, tried over 1400m, to win going away over 2000m at Ripon recently.
16:18 4:18 Nottingham

Caph Star

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@+1200

Lose

-50

An open affair and no outstanding runner, but Caph Star, a two-time winner, could repeat his third last run when winning over course and distance. Rob Hornby takes the ride and that is a big plus.
15:48 3:48 Nottingham

Lillie Margot

Daily Racing

50 WINNB

@+550

Win

275

All runners have improvement potential. However Lillie Margot has shown a good finish as time over course and distance, and may transfer her good effort to this event for a winning one.
15:18 3:18 Nottingham

Delighfully Hot

Daily Racing

25 EW

@+4000

Lose

-50

James Owen has been chalking up winners regularly. In fact, he has had five wins and five places from his last eighteen recently. The Too Darn Hot progeny Delightfully Hot could set the track alight if she has any inherent ability of her sire and looks like a good value each way bet.
14:48 2:48 Nottingham

Lochryan

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@+1200

Lose

-50

The Havana Grey progeny are doing well in recent times, and there are two in this line-up. One of interest is Lochryan, who is drawn alongside the favourite, which will draw him forward. I think he can get the better of the favourite in an exciting finish.
02 June 2026
19:45 Wales v Ghana

Ghana

50 WIN

@+225

Lose

-50

Wales top the betting boards, but Ghana have a strong defensive play and are patient, waiting for a break. If the opportunity comes they strike. Despite losing their last five fixtures, I think they will surprise.
19:00 7:00 Wolverhampton

Starborn

Daily Racing

25 EW

@SP

Lose

-50

Mr Noble is the only runner with form, having won on debut last time out. The race has quite a few who could improve on their debut runs. One which looks interesting is the progeny of Starspangledbanner, Starborn, and he is anticipated to run on the board.
17:30 5:30 Southwell

Inca

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@+3300

Lose

-50

The top two on the boards are the ones to contend with. I fancy improvement from Inca, who hinted at coming to hand last time, finishing fourth at Uttoxeter.
17:18 5:18 Pontefract

Liverpool Star

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@+450

Lose

-50

Liverpool Star has been placing regularly and deserves another bite at winning after some close-up finishes. To date he has won once and placed in seven of twelve starts.
17:00 5:00 Southwell

Pahlavi

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@+2000

Lose

-50

Pahlavi is an interesting runner here. Comes all the way from Ireland. His last win was in August last year, that day ridden by Paddy Hanlon, and he is reunited here. The Hanlons team up here and could surprise.
16:48 4:48 Pontefract

Distinction

Daily Racing

50 WINNAP

@+550

Lose

-50

A few runners have shown some good form at the course. I fancy Distinction to build on his last when missing out by the bob of the heads in a three-way photo finish.
16:30 4:30 Southwell

Jager Time

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@+350

Lose

-50

The top two on the betting boards will probably fight this out. Of the two, I fancy Jager Time to be ridden by Fern O'Brien. The runner flourishes over distances ranging from 4400m to 5400m, and this is a 4800m race.
16:18 4:18 Pontefract

Storm Esme

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@+1200

Lose

-50

Storm Esme has won two from five and needed the last two runs. She should be ready now, and David Allan is back on board, which is encouraging.
16:00 4:00 Southwell

The Hostage

Daily Racing

25 EWNB

@SP

Lose

-50

Only five runners in this line-up and The Hostage looks like he won't finish here. However, the booking of Sean Bowen is encouraging and this Rossitunner may find his way into a challenging position with his experience.
15:48 3:48 Pontefract

Maris Angel

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@+1600

Lose

-50

Maris Angel was not disgraced last time out, finishing third after completing a four-timer. The rest may bring her on, and she could come back winning on her first comeback run.
15:30 3:30 Southwell

Guerdale

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@SP

Lose

-50

The favourite has good form from his debut run, but Guerdale catches the eye. As a progeny of Frontiersman, he is bred to stay and could probably win.
31 May 2026
17:30 Almeria v Valladolid

Valladolid

50 WIN

@+650

Lose

-50

There is no ambition for the teams to win here, as it wouldn't affect their league standings. But they could play for pride. Valladolid head-to-head have W2 D2 over their hosts in the last four fixtures and appear the better side.
17:30 Burgos v FC Andorra

FC Andorra

50 WIN

@+550

Lose

-50

Burgos have strong ambitions of making the playoffs and will play to win. However, Andorra have beaten them in the last two H2H fixtures and could land the double for this season, so I'm sticking with them.
17:30 Racing Santander v Cadiz

Draw

50 WIN

@+400

Lose

-50

Racing Santander have immediate promotion, and it looks likely they will secure the LaLiga 2 title with as little as a draw. Cádiz averted relegation with their recent win. I think they will celebrate that with a competitive game here, which I believe will end in a draw.
16:30 Poland v Ukraine

Poland

50 WIN

@+114

Lose

-50

Ukraine, beneath the turmoil of the country, the soccer side have soldiered on and unfortunately were eliminated from World Cup qualification. Poland too lost a playoff against Sweden after an unbeaten run in the preliminary rounds. However, this game could be a warm-up for the UEFA Nations League tournament later this year. I think that Poland, with Robert Lewandowski in the striker's position, will be hard to oppose.
15:00 Bragantino v Internacional

Internacional

50 WIN

@+240

Lose

-50

Bragantino lay fifth on the log with five points and nine positions higher than Internacional. But the visitors have beaten them in the last three H2H fixtures, scoring nothing less than three goals per game.
15:00 Czechia v Kosovo

Kosovo

50 WIN

@+400

Lose

-50

Czechia have reached the World Cup and host Kosovo, who came desperately close to qualifying. However, the visitors are definite contenders to win this friendly as they have been playing extremely well.
14:00 Switzerland v Jordan

Draw

50 WIN

@+550

Lose

-50

Jordan are the surprise package of the World Cup and reached the 2025 FIFA Arab Cup final, which they lost to Morocco this past December. Switzerland are a strong contender for the World Cup and host this friendly. I think the teams will play out to a draw.
12:00 Slovacko v SK Artis Brno

Draw

50 WIN

@+332

Lose

-50

Slovácko simply destroyed their opponents in the first leg of this tie. With a three-goal advantage, it looks like they will qualify. I think SK Artis Brno will try to come back but will eventually end up with a drawn result.
11:25 Japan v Iceland

Iceland

50 WIN

@+1500

Lose

-50

This will be an interesting match, as Japan are unbeaten in their last six and have beaten England recently. They beat Iceland two out of two in head-to-head, but that was a while back. At present Iceland could match up to them, and I would not be surprised should the visitors win.
30 May 2026
19:42 7:42 Lingfield

Sakowin

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@+800

Lose

-50

Many debutantes here and a handful of runners have racing experience. I think that Sakowin will improve on his debut run and the R. Hughes inmate will be competitive enough to win.
19:30 Nigeria v Jamaica

Jamaica

50 WIN

@+500

Lose

-50

The last fixture between these two ended in a draw, with Nigeria eventual winners after a penalty shootout. We could see a similar situation, but I fancy Jamaica, ever so slenderly, to win in ninety minutes.
19:20 7:20 Stratford

Ballynaheer

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@+900

Lose

-50

Ballynaheer has won three races that extend past 5,000 m from his last six starts. The extra up to 5,800 m will be in his favour.
19:12 7:12 Lingfield

Blue Sign

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@+3300

Lose

-50

A few well-bred debutantes could contest this race. I side with the Blue Point progeny Blue Sign, who is an offspring of the mare Intisaar, who has produced a few winners.
19:00 7:00 Tramore

Alaskan View

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@SP

Lose

-50

The race appears on the open side. Of the runners who show some form, I like Alaskan View, who won his penultimate start here at Wexford. That was in August last year, and trusting he won't need the run.

Slowdownbarney

Daily Racing

25 EW

@SP

Lose

-50

The race appears on the open side. Should the runners who have some form not show, then we're in for a shock result. One who could cause such an upset is Slowdownbarney, who has shown some potential on the flat. However, he now switches to the jumping discipline and could take a good step forward with the change.
18:50 6:50 Stratford

In The Air

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@SP

Lose

-50

In The Air is a winner of eight races from thirty starts, including a win at the course. Form-wise, he has won three of his last six and looks ready to win this if he overcomes the handicap.
18:42 6:42 Lingfield

Epictetus

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@+1000

Lose

-50

The Kingman progeny Epictetus has been racing well at the course recently with six places from the last six races and twice at Lingfield. W. Carver is booked to ride, as a strong urge is needed for him to get ahead in the finish.
18:30 6:30 Tramore

Menas Miracle

Daily Racing

50 WIN

@+800

Win

400

Menas Miracle was disappointing last time at the course but may have needed the run after a seven-month break. Was competitive, winning here in July last year and could be warming up to that level of form this year.

Haveagobeau

Daily Racing

50 WIN

17:00 PSG v Arsenal

Arsenal

50 WIN

@+220

Lose

-50

Both teams have had phenomenal seasons, and the Gunners have toppled the grip Man City had on the Premier, albeit only just. Their side have at last broken the hoodoo of choking as the season closes. Well done, and they will crown their season by completing the double in my book. I think Mikel Arteta has done a marvelous job, and Arsenal are hyped up for their first-ever taking of the Champions League crown. Luis Enrique too has built a world-class PSG side, but I think the Gunners will triumph, as only one team ever won the trophy as holders thereof, and that will be a tall order for PSG despite being in the final. That said, may the best team win, and let’s enjoy the spectacle thereof.

Elements Of Fire scored a treble over today's distance; however, that was on AW tracks and he now goes on the turf. One who looks good on turf is Miami Matrix, whose last two placed at the course. Last year he won back-to-back over course and distance.

Hamadhan

Daily Racing

50 WINNB

@+800

Lose

-50

Only three runners line up here, and the race appears over bar the shouting for the favourite, who won his last race by a whopping eleven lengths. However, Hamadhan has traveled all the way from Ireland to contest this race, and the connections must feel they have a chance. I think they do, as the runner has shown some good form in fast-run races.
15:00 IF Gnistan v SJK

SJK

50 WIN

@+139

Lose

-50

The current form favors the host Gnistan. However, the visitors SJK have won the last four H2H fixtures, and despite making a poor start to the season, they are anticipated to win this event.
15:00 KuPS Kuopio v FC Inter

KuPS Kuopio

50 WIN

@+145

Lose

-50

Inter lie four points and one position higher on the log, occupying first spot. However, the head-to-head results favoured three wins for KuPS, and they are fancied to win today.
15:00 Lahti v FC Ilves

Draw

50 WIN

@+250

Lose

-50

Two positions and one point in favour of Ilves is the current standing on the log. However, they appear evenly matched. Their last two H2H fixtures were draws.
15:00 Molde v Sandefjord

Sandefjord

50 WIN

@+375

Lose

-50

The teams lie on the verge of European competition qualification, with Molde two points and one position better off. However, head-to-head Sandefjord have won the last four, and I think they will win again.
15:00 TPS v VPS Vaasa

VPS Vaasa

50 WIN

@+129

Lose

VPS are unbeaten in eight of their fixtures in all competitions, and their hosts TPS have lost three in a row at present, inspiring no confidence. Hence the visitors are expected to win.
14:30 Zimbabwe v India

India

14:00 AIK v Sirius

Sirius

50 WIN

@+110

Win

Sirius top the log and are doing extremely well. Their hosts AIK have recently lost two home games and occupy a spot in mid table. Hence the strong possibility that the visitors should win.
14:00 GAIS v Kalmar FF

Draw

50 WIN

@+240

Lose

-50

The teams lie mid-table, with GAIS three positions and two points better, but having played one match more. I think they appear even; a draw is anticipated.
14:00 GIF Sundsvall v Sandvikens IF

Draw

50 WIN

@+240

Lose

-50

The teams are tied on points and occupy the two bottom positions on the log. Both are losing more frequently than winning, and I think a draw appears the logical answer.
14:00 Malmo FF v Halmstad

Halmstad

50 WIN

@+540

Lose

-50

Malmo are rather disappointing this season and have lost four in a row, which included three at home in all competitions. That's not what we expect of such a highly revered team. However, that's what it is, and I think that Halmstad may add to their woes, as I think they have the ability at present to beat the hosts.
13:00 HJK Helsinki v IFK Mariehamn

IFK Mariehamn

50 WIN

@+1100

Lose

-50

Mariehamn are yet to win their first game of the new season and appear to be hopelessly last. Helsinki have inconsistent W3 D3 L3 stats and are difficult to assess against any opposition. I do think Mariehamn will improve and could possibly upstage their more fancied rivals.
13:00 Scotland v Curacao

Curacao

50 WIN

@+1400

Lose

-50

Both have qualified for this year's World Cup. The Scots host this preparation match at Hampden Park, where they have a bad record of winning, with just four of their last thirteen wins. Curaçao have recalled Dick Advocaat, and he successfully guided them to qualification with W7 D3. On that basis, I think they look a strong possibility to win this.
12:35 Chengdu Rongcheng v Shandong Taishan

Draw

50 WIN

@+300

Lose

-50

Chengdu Rongcheng appears to be running away with the leadership in this league. However, they have lost two back-to-back matches and a bounce back is anticipated. The visitors, Shandong Taishan, are no pushovers, and I expect a draw.
