I can't help but think that Better Off Alone is underrated in this. Has got point-to-point form over this trip and apart from a couple of pull-ups a few runs ago the selection has adapted to chasing quite well.

On this sort of ground I suspect Mickey The Steel will put his best hoof forward and run a good race. Seems to like ground with cut. Has a wide draw but statistically the draw isn't such a big deal at the Curragh.

Highland Crystal looks like a very good prospect and there's enough evidence to suggest she knows what she's doing over hurdles now. Similarly, with rain potentially making the ground soft, she looks like she has no problem with cut. Should run well.

A Mullins horse as high as it is in the market? I'm not sure that this has been factored in properly. The recent stat we have for the horse was on heavy ground but the time was good. It's a tough cookie of a race but he may be underrated.

Has pulled up and unseated a few times so there are concerns but last time out it looked like she was heading back in the right direction.

Rising Force has a wide draw here but for once I'm not overly concerned. There will be plenty of pace on I think and the horse should be able to pick up the pieces late on. He certainly looks good enough.

At the price and considering there are several places on offer here I think Western Zephyr is completely underrated. With a new yard and ran a really good race for them last time out. If cheekpieces eke out anything here we could have a big upset on the cards - at least for each-way purposes.

Sober Glory looks underrated here. There are one or two here which may really come on but the selection's run at Newbury is well worth another look. An excellent run, albeit on heavy ground, and one which means he should be granted a bit more respect.

Another horse I think is over-priced on the exchange (9.0) is Jubilant. The horse has been raised in the weights for a driven out win at Plumpton just before christmas. As long as the horse is still fit I see no reason why he can't get this slightly longer trip and defy the weight.

Hopefully Uhavemeinstitches will have us laughing all the way to the bank after this race. I'm not a fan of Sam Torrens (his stats are poor) but the horse itself is running very well at the moment, even on testing ground. Can't be ignored despite the jockey.

Rockymountainbleu is 21.0 on the exchange at the time of writing. With 5 places (6 in areas) available I think this is a value play. The horse is a consistent type, well capable of getting this trip. With no obvious front-running here, save perhaps Eagles Reign, I think it's highly possible the horse could easily outrun these odds.

Peter Fahey looks like he's trying to bring this one into the chasing game after the horse has done most of his work over hurdles. Did well on his first chasing effort and was subsequently brought down next time out. Is on a decent mark here and the jockey takes off a further 7.
