Finished the Texas Open with an amazing 8 birdies on the back nine to tie for the lead, only to lose out in a playoff. That must surely be a huge boost to his confidence making his debut at Augusta. He is, in the eyes of his fellow pro's an outstanding putter and should relish the Augusta greens.

Finished the Texas Open with a cracking 66, only bettered by Denny McCarthy who had 8 birdies on the back nine holes. Has played well at the Masters before, making the cut on his last 6 appearances. Putting often lets him down, put the fine performance in Texas should be seen as a positive.
