Should really be much shorter on his form with Benvento Cellini and certainly looks valuable. The key is his stamina and first time with cut in the ground, which really will play into his strength. I like the fact he's returning as a fresh horse.

Blinkers to sharpen him up over this shorter trip and perhaps better ground will help. His form is good enough to compete here, and given all known form, he'll be thereabouts. His price is certainly each-way value even though there are a few handicap debutant unknowns. The key, though, is those are fillies, and usually male horses have an edge, so I'm hopeful.

Holes can be picked in the favorite's form. Not really a 2-year-old, and I suspect his winning is done until next year now. The selection looks a perfect type for this, and after a month off to strengthen up, is making his nursery debut. Has the best pedigree here, dam a 2-year-old winner and crying out for the step back up in trip.

Only the other 3yo, Kingmaker, can give him a race (a banker forecast anyway), but I just feel this slow riding deep surface will suit Prescotts very well.
