This is his first test in graded company over fences though did run in a Grade 1 over hurdles and was not good enough against that calibre of horse, but there is nothing in that class opposing him today.

Gets into the race of a good weight. Disappointing run last time out but was staying on tremendously over 3 miles 5 furlongs at Warwick two runs ago, only beaten by 3/4 of a length despite giving 20lbs to the winner. It is a tough ask to be the first mare since 1951 to win this race but I believe that today is the day.

You know what you are getting with this horse. He is going to be at the front, dictating the pace, and he is tougher than The Times cryptic crossword. Had most of these behind him when finishing a fine second to Teahupoo last time out. Rightful favourite for today's race.

Only beaten into 5th by 4 and a half lengths in a hotly contested race on a track that clearly didn't suit him last time out. Back on a flatter track today and should run well for that. I would expect he will try and dictate the pace from the front.

Won the Ultima at the Cheltenham festival last time out. Has won on good to soft, soft, and heavy on a variety of tracks over various distances but 3 miles on soft/heavy ground looks to be his ideal distance. Still plenty of improvement to come and a big run expected today.
