This one won its PTP in a canter and the distance was 20+ lengths. Next time up over hurdles at 2 miles 4 he weakened at the last when sent off even-money favourite. He finished well beaten that day. With an extra couple of furlongs today and that experience under his belt, he will go well.

This is the trainer's only runner of the day. He is in decent form, and his last two winners were both ridden by today's jockey, which I am taking as a positive. The horse itself will need to improve dramatically from its debut, but it has had wind surgery since that run and it could be overlooked in the betting.

American Sniper has been running in higher grades than this and comes back to a Grade 3 today. His last two wins were in this grade off 120 and 122 today off 120. Admittedly he has had his poorer runs in this grade but off higher marks and the trainer puts up a 10 lb claimer who has won for the trainer before, and the horse is the trainers only runner today. EW chances.

This one was a pound higher earlier in the year, but since then has struggled, although she did manage a couple of thirds. Looking at those races, they were slightly higher grade than both her win and this race today. I think she can go well down to a winning weight with a 7 lb claimer up.

The trainer runs two in this, and I am taking this one. It won once in Ireland on soft going and ran a few decent enough races alongside that. It's the third race for the trainer, and the horse has dropped considerably in the weights. With a 10lb claimer up, we might see a decent run.

This one needs a major upgrade from recent runs, but he gets his best ground. He has come back down the weights and has a useful 5lb claimer up. The claimer has had a couple of runs recently for the trainer: 1 win and 1 fourth. We could see a decent run today.
