Dan Skelton has his yard going well. He had a few seconds yesterday without getting the win. I like this one for a place and perhaps a win. 5/1 in the paper and 10/1 now, that looks like decent value for one that finished a good second last time out and seems to be suited by the longer trip today.

I always keep an eye out for M. Suanders at Bath. It's his local course and his horses often go well there. Joy hasn't run since May but goes well fresh, and she can make the frame at a decent price.

This one is quite interesting. Last three runs at Brighton, and those were the first after 72 runs, so it seems the trainer thinks the horse can do well. Over this trip here, the horse has met trouble twice and finished 3rd in one race. A 7lb claimer up, so it might be trouble again. But it's worth a chance EW.

Looks to be laid out for this. 3rd last year and had a break before his last run, which was a quiet run down the field. He should be spot on today and the trainer puts up a 5lb claimer. This one has a very good record at this venue, with 2 of his three wins coming here. He is off 97 today, which is a few pounds more than his wins, so an EW shout at good odds is my bet of the day.
