Former National Hunt Chase winner round here who ran in a Gold Cup and the Grand National in 2024 when with Willie Mullins. Now with the up and coming Faye Bramley and returned to the track with a second, followed by a win at Fakenham under patrick Mullins who knows him so well. No stamina concerns, and with Patrick amateur in name only, and first time headgear he could put up a great run today.

Second twice here this season giving weight away (latterly to NR Spillane's Tower in the Cotswold Chase) when the yard was well out of sorts. Would not be a huge surprise if he was placed today with conditions to suit and the yard back in form

Consistent sort who has never been out of the frame so does not lack ability. May not have set the world alight but won here in January (tonguestrap retained.) Acts on all going and with the Tizzard yard enjoyingg a great season it would be no surprise if this raw sort turns out to be better than the bare form suggests.

Fact remains that both trips here, in this race have seen him beat Leau de Sud in 2024, and a respectable 3rd to Kargese trying to give 5lb to that rival who blew apart a top quality Arkle field here this year.Dangerous to overlook at a massive price, and he will not be inconvenienced if the ground is lively. Appears to offer terrific each way value.

Won the Triumph Trial here in December cosily beating Wionston Junior by 61/2 lengths giving 7lb. The latter was narrowly beaten in the Fred Winter here on Tuesday. Has been consistent since going over obstacles andr Ryan Mania has partnered him to two victories. Acts on good/good to soft so everything in his favour.

With the improved ground and new headgear there are glimpses of form over similar distances in this one's record that suggest a place is not impoissible particularly given the trainer's record for pulling impossible rabbits out of hats. I was at Market Rasen when this mare won and few have impressed me more. No surprise that she has risen 19lb in the ratings since. Beaten narrowly at Warwick by Kingston Queen (both by Kingston Hill). The latter's form is tied up with that of Old Park Star but I still feel there is more to come on a stiff track from White Noise given her rate of progression and there are none shrewder than Kim Bailey on the big day.

Whilst looking on paper the second string to JP McManus's bow there is a lot to like about this son of Malinas. He is proven to stay and has progressed nicely each time asked a question on some of Ireland's most testing tracks. Should also handle the drying ground and offers a nice each way price possibly slightly under the radar.

Few 7 year oilds can claim never being out of the frame like this lad. Yesterday's Arkle winner Kargese ran him close in the Irish equivalent with her mare's allowance. Interestingly connections have upped him significantly in trip here now swerving that option. Proven over two and a half miles, he is certainly bred to get further but that breeding - Kayf Tara x Kapgarde - would favour a softer surface. A powerful sort it is hard to see him not being able to grind this out and a win here today would put him into contention for next year's Gold Cup. First time hood should help him settle and see it out.

With four places on offer this tough and still progressive sort may well run in to a place here for a small yard. Four wins on the bounce, on a variety of going, and he battled well to land a valuable grade 1 at Naas last time off 136 carrying 11.10 . All his wins have come on testing tracks. This requires another big step forward but he has yet to be found wanting.

Lightly raced since joining the Closutton camp with two runs and two wins. Easy winner of the Queen Alexandra at Ascot, and woith just one run over hurdles - beating two who had won races in their own right - he looks to have been kept fresh for this. Drying ground will suit whilst I can't help feeling worthy favourite No Drama This End would be advantaged by softer - and has had a tougher preparation. This classy son of Camelot may well come up with the goods here again today.

I keep being drawn back to this horse. Paul Nolan is shrewd and whilst the form is not startling both this horse's wins have had to be battled for one way or another and he looks tough compared to his experience level, doing his best work at the end which is what this distance requires.

Not the most consistent but admittedly getting a massive chunk of weight he showed a liking for this course when fiunishing ahead of L'Homme Presse earlier this season. Danny will no doubt be doing his best to keep his mother happy and this is a muddling contest at best.

Looked far more grown up running less greenly last time. This will be a tough test but he looks ready to take on the best of mullins' two milers and no-one would begrudge Nickyy Henderson and his owners that scalp after such a run of bad luck. His Game Spirit win over some seasoned campaigners looked slick and frankly a class above them. He has to prove himself today.

This horse has strengthened and improved throughout this campaign. He looks a future star for Seven Barrows and the strength of his stride powering home both here and at Sandown was a joy to see. This is a very strong renewal but he looks the real deal.
