HK Fourteen won his penultimate race against some very respectable horses, one of which, of the few who have raced since, has gone on to win and place, and a few have placed. Followed that up by a short head 2nd at Newmarket when ridden by today's jockey, Jason Hart. Scored a hat-trick during the autumn last season and is going the right way this season with two wins and two places from six outings. Has cheekpieces fitted for the first time today, which should help if he takes to them. Has five wins and two places from his eleven races over 5 and 6 furlongs. He is 1/1 on Soft going, and the no. 10 stall could be advantageous.

Bottom weight Eternal Sunshine, trained by Jim Goldie, is seeking a hat-trick and is ridden by the very capable Lauren Young, who has been in the plate the last twice and takes off 7 lbs. She is two wins from three rides on this horse. Eternal Sunshine was beaten by a short head in a Class 2 at York in August after being outpaced halfway through but battled back. Comfortable over 5 and 6 furlongs with seven wins and seven places from 22 starts, plus another two 4ths, and is versatile with the going with form from GF to GS.

Little Dorrit has only had three races and is having her first handicap race today. She has a win on the AW at Wolverhampton, and although she finished a close 5th of 9 next time out in a listed race, she recorded an RPR of 100 after a slow start and meeting trouble. Although she has only raced on GF on turf, her pedigree has some very good form on GS. Ray Dawson, who was in the saddle for her Kempton win, returns to the plate today.

Nama is one of three CD winners in this lineup and is in good form, having been in the places in five of her last six races, culminating in two wins here over today's distance from her last three races. She has only gone up by 2 lbs for that last win, which should not be too much of a problem. She has three wins and two places from her six races over today's distance, and going should not be a problem either, as she has form over all goings from GF down to Soft. Rhys Clutterbuck won his only ride on her and will hopefully repeat it today.
