Trainer Gordon Elliott has a very good record in this race. Since 2010 he has won it eight times. He runs two here with Romeo Coolio the odds-on jolly. Pied Piper is a no-hoper according to his price, but just look at yesterday's Fighting Fifth where the two principals fell and Golden Ace won and returned at 22/1. PP was a very good hurdler, winning five times and placing three times from 15 starts, including second in the Premier Handicap Hurdle at the Festival. He has taken to chasing well, with three wins and a place from just eight starts. Is he good enough to win this? I'm not sure. I'm having a small each-way at huge odds.
