Stod180

I have been backing horses since Sherwood Forest was a plant pot. From Newcastle and a TOON supporter. I don't have one particular thing that leads me to have a bet, it's all bits of infomation gleaned, plus I don't mind what price it is, if I think I can turn a profit, then I will put it on here and I do back them myself.

Blue Day

Daily Racing

The in-form Harry Charlton-trained Blue Day won a Class 4 5f handicap at Ascot on his penultimate start. The 4-year-old Blue Point gelding was an unlucky 1/2 length second to Duran, giving 4 lbs last time out. Even though he carries top weight (9-12), he is, in my opinion, still progressing and can go close again in this Class 3 company.

The 5-year-old Acclamation mare was denied a run on every occasion, leaving jockey Harry Davies with a double handful crossing the line in 5th place over C&D. I have no doubt with a clear run, Rhythmic Acclaim would have easily won. Instead of going up in weight, she has been dropped a pound and dropped 2 grades in class.
