Grade 1 Festival form when 4th in the Supreme 3 years ago and followed that up by landing the Top Novices the following month. Lightly raced since but plenty of strong chasing form as a novice in top company and produced his best effort of the season when 5th at Leopardstown last time. 146 a fair mark on his best form and the better ground than he's faced recently will be no issue.

Pretty consistent until a poor run on softer ground last time. Last season's Thurles Beginners Chase win over Westport Cove and September's G3 Novice second behind the same rival were good efforts, as was his Ascot G3 handicap 3rd off 142 on good ground. Off 141 today and a similar effort back on better ground would give him an each way chance.

Landed a couple of handicap hurdles and steady improvement again this season, winning a 4-runner race at Doncaster last time. Needs a bit more up another 2lb but that's possible and he handles the better ground as well.

Comfortable winner of last year's Fred Winter off 130. Comes here 16lb higher but good runs over hurdles and on the flat since including landing the Irish Cesarewitch. Hampered last time and today's better ground will suit. Could be more to come on his first try at this longer trip.

Stepped up in trip to 28.5f for the first time when winning the Haydock Grand National Trial off 129 last time and put up a career best effort. 6lb higher today but unexposed at the extended trips.

Poor effort in the Haydock Grand National Trial last time but previously improving with every run including when stepped up to 28.5f at Windsor in January (runner-up off 121). He's effectively 2lb lower today with the jockey's claim and the extra couple of furlongs may help him find a little more improvement. May be worth an each way interest.

Ended last season by winning the Greatwood Gold Cup after not looking likely most of the way. That race worked out very well and he had Vincenzo and Saint Segal back in second and third. That was off a mark of 126. He's 14lb higher today having won again at Newbury to begin this campaign off a mark of 132. That was a comfortable win and the race has also worked out with the 3rd (twice) and 4th winning since. Couldn't match that form on the New Course here in January but probably still capable off this mark.

Mares have a record of 5 wins from 12 over the last ten years and I'll take Lossiemouth to extend her unbeaten Cheltenham record of 4 wins from 4 runs. She's traded victories with Brighterdaysahead this season but I'll side with her course record on this occasion.

Only had two chances beyond 24f and they were the two best runs of his career. Runner-up off 144 on good ground at Aintree to end last season and a winner off 141 at Haydock last time on GS. Had Konfusion, Moreton and Jonnywho in behind on that occasion and is just 3lb worse off with each today. Still pretty unexposed at this trip and just 3lb above that latest win. Has run well here before but on the New Course.

Ran as well as could be expected in heavy ground Grade 2 behind Haiti Couleurs last time. Previously beaten just a head off 145 at Ascot behind quite progressive winner with Hyland, Jonnywho and Blow Your Wad in behind. Course and distance novice chase winner on good ground earlier in the season. Just 1lb higher than for the good Ascot run today.

Lulamba isn't easily opposed, but I'll side with last year's Supreme winner despite him coming here off the back of only one chasing run??"an impressive performance at Navan. Lulamba has already won in open Grade 2 company, but no five-year-old has won this since they lost the weight allowance, so that is perhaps a negative.
