Put in a decent effort in his first run of 2024 when a 7 length runner up in a 12 runner, Class 3, 3m5f handicap and although having shown little in his only 3 runs since (all class 3) he definitely has the ability to get competitive in a race like this if running to form, so at the big odds of 23.00 I reckon it is worth chancing a small bet on him as he drops down to a Class 4 handicap running off the same mark as his last win

Although running off a career high mark of 131 today, he ran a good race last time out off a mark of 130, 55 days ago, when beaten only 4 lengths in a 2m½f, Class 2 handicap chase, and has shown decent form in 3 outings since returning from a 7 months break in November last year (in Class 1 & 2 handicaps) His 2 chase wins to date have come over 2m½f, but having won over hurdles over 2m4½f he should have no problems having his first chase run beyond 2m2f and if holding his form he should be good for a place on dropping down to a Class 4 hcp

PSG remain unbeaten this season after 20 games, W15 D5 L0 F54 A19, with their games against the top 10 teams having resulted in W10 D1 L0 F32 A11, of which 8 of the games were won by a margin of 2 or more goals, so as well as going for a bet on PSG @ 1.40 to take their 9th home win of the season, I reckon it could also pay to back them to a smaller stake on the AH @ 2.04 with -1.50 goals
