Taking a real chance on him: A) coming on a ton for the reappearance run, and B) finding form he hasn’t had in nearly a year. He did improve from his reappearance run last year when awarded a measly RPR of 53 (running off an actual mark of 75), before then hitting an RPR of 78 next time out, funnily enough over course and distance. I’m hoping for a similar pattern here, except this time he runs off 59 rather than 74. He re-opposes Betweenthesticks from that second race of 2025 and, having carried 8 lb more than that rival there, comes back this year some 25 lb better off. It’s a chance at a price I wouldn’t want to be taking much shorter, but off a much reduced mark he’s one to have onside for the near future, I’d say.
