Nottingham Forest beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-1 away from home in their last league game. I think their next two home games against Brentford and Leicester City are huge in the race for Champions League football next season. The Bees have lost away to Newcastle, Chelsea, Aston Villa, Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester City, and Liverpool this season. You have to fancy they will be no match for Forest at the City Ground.

Manchester City might yet catch Arsenal to finish second behind Liverpool. They have won three in a row in the league against Aston Villa, Everton, and Crystal Palace. Wolves were beaten 5-1 at the Etihad last season and have lost eight of the last nine against City, including a 2-1 defeat at Molineux earlier this season. I fancy the Citizens are going to finish the campaign strongly.

Aston Villa have won six games in a row at home in all competitions and beat Nottingham Forest, Paris Saint Germain, and Newcastle United in the last three. Fulham have lost their last three away from home, and against Villa, it’s five straight defeats. I fancy the home win in this early kick-off for The Villa.

Everton have beaten Spurs at home and drawn with Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester United since the turn of the year at Goodison Park and I fancy with two home games left against Ipswich Town and Southampton they will want to win them both. The Blues won 2-0 away to Ipswich earlier this season and I am siding with a home win for The Toffees.

Leicester City won 3-2 away to Southampton earlier this season at St Mary’s. Two of the sides promoted to the Premier League this season will be heading back to the Championship together. The Foxes have won the last three head-to-head, including a 5-0 win at home last year. I am siding with the home result at the King Power.

Tied 13th two weeks ago at the RBC Heritage and rounds of 66 and 67 moved him into contention heading into Sunday at Harbour Town Golf Links. Tied 5th at Pebble Beach earlier this year and the Australian did win the Rocket Mortgage Classic last season on the PGA Tour. As we know the Australians tend to do well in Texas and I fancy Cam Davis puts four solid rounds together to play his way into contention this week.

12th at the Valero Texas Open, 14th at The Masters and 18th at the RBC Heritage, I fancy Jordan Spieth doesn’t look too far away from a big week and a return to the winners circle on the PGA Tour. 9th in 2021 when TPC Craig Ranch first hosted this tournament, the American was runner up in 2022 here and I am siding with Spieth in Texas to play his way into contention.

Runner-up in 2019 when TPC Craig Ranch first hosted the CJ Cup Byron Nelson, and I fancy the American can have another big week in Texas. Tied 13th at the RBC Heritage the week after The Masters with four rounds of 69 or better, I am siding with Sam Burns, ticking a lot of boxes this week at the Byron Nelson.

Judd Trump is in the bottom half of the draw in Sheffield and with Wilson, Selby, Allen, Robertson and O’Sullivan all in the top half I fancy he is the man to beat in this World Championship. He spoke about organising his schedule for the big events and I am siding with the world number one winning a second world title to add to his 2019 triumph at The Crucible.

The Thunder From Down Under is in the top half of the draw, and I fancy he can navigate his way to another world final. The world number nine won the World Grand Prix last month in Hong Kong and was a semi-finalist at the Players Championship. I am siding with the Australian getting past Allen, Wilson, and Selby to be in the final Sunday week.

Luke Littler topped the group standings with four night wins last year in the Premier League and he went on to finals night to beat Michael Smith and Luke Humphries to lift the Premier League trophy. The Nuke has since become the Grand Slam Champion and the World Champion and I fancy the world number two is the man to beat in this year’s Premier League, Littler to go back to back is the play.

The defending champion beat Michael van Gerwen twelve months ago to become the world champion at the age of 17. I fancy he returns to the Ally Pally stage very much the man everyone has to beat. The Nuke has reached the final the last two years in London, and I am siding with Luke Littler becoming a two-time world champion.
