STEVEOCN's Tips

21st September 2024
12:30 West Ham v Chelsea

Draw

75 WIN

Chelsea made hard work of Bournemouth last weekend and they were held at home to Crystal Palace the game before at Stamford Bridge. Last season they went down 3-1 at the London Stadium and the year before it was a 1-1 score draw. The Hammers drew 1-1 last Saturday with Fulham and I fancy another London derby share of the spoils.
15:00 Aston Villa v Wolverhampton

Draw

75 WIN

Two of the last four second city derbies between Aston Villa and Wolverhampton Wanderers have ended in draws and I fancy Wolves will have studied how Everton took a 2-0 lead at Villa Park last Saturday evening. One win in seven against Wolves for Villa and I am siding with a hard fought clash here that ends in a point a piece.
15:00 Fulham v Newcastle

Draw

75 WIN

Fulham have drawn their last two matches 1-1 with West Ham United and Ipswich Town and they are due a result you feel. Newcastle left it late against Wolves last weekend and although they have done the double of Fulham in recent seasons I fancy The Cottagers improve on last weekend and this will be an entertaining game, I am siding with a score draw.
15:00 Leicester v Everton

Draw

75 WIN

Three of the last five head to head meetings between Leicester City and Everton have ended in draws and when they last met it was an entertaining 2-2 draw. The Foxes drew last weekend with Palace and in their first home game with Tottenham Hotspur, Everton were unlucky the last two games to lose 3-2 and I fancy they will defend better at the King Power and avoid defeat, I am siding with a share of the spoils.
15:00 Liverpool v Bournemouth

Draw

75 WIN

Bournemouth took the lead last season at Anfield and I fancy if they were to start this match well it might unsettle the Anfield faithful. Nottingham Forest won here last Saturday and Liverpool did play midweek in the Champions League, Bournemouth drew 1-1 with Newcastle United and I am siding with them frustrating Liverpool to leave with a point.
15:00 Southampton v Ipswich

Ipswich

75 WIN

Ipswich Town have drawn their last two games against Brighton and Fulham and I fancy their first win back in the Premier League won’t be too far away. The Tractor Boys done the double over Southampton last season in the Championship and I am siding with Ipswich going to St Mary’s and winning again.
15:00 Tottenham v Brentford

Brentford

75 WIN

Tottenham Hotspur have lost their last two league matches against Arsenal and Newcastle United and there just doesn't seem to be a killer instinct to Spurs right now. Brentford won here the season before last and will sense they have a real chance at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. I fancy the hosts struggle to take their chances and Mbeumo and Wissa make them pay in an away win for The Bees.
17:30 Crystal Palace v Man Utd

Draw

75 WIN

Crystal Palace done the double over Manchester United last season in the Premier League but they have yet to fire this season in the opening four games. United were beaten away to Brighton, Palace have drawn their last two with Chelsea and Leicester City and I fancy this will end in a score draw at Selhurst Park, a point a piece to be the fair result in the end.
22nd September 2024
17:30 BMW PGA Championship

Adrian Otaegui

30 EW

Adrian Otaegui was 13th in 2022 at the BMW PGA Championship and he has made the cut on his last three visits to Wentworth. 17th last week in the Irish Open at Royal County Down where his ball striking was exceptional, I fancy the Spaniard can go well this week at a big price.

Bernd Wiesberger

30 EW

Three top ten finishes in his last nine starts and I fancy Bernd Wiesberger isn’t too far away from a big week. Runner up at the European Open, 7th at the KLM Open and 6th at the Czech Masters, the Austrian has been top 25 in three of his last four visits to Wentworth and I am siding with him having his best week yet at the BMW PGA.

Ryan Fox

30 EW

The defending champion returned to action last week in Ireland and although he missed the cut he didn't play too bad at Royal County Down. The New Zealander held off Hovland, Hatton and Rahm twelve months ago and I fancy he will go well around Wentworth again this week.
19:00 English Open 2024

Judd Trump

100 WIN

Judd Trump won the Saudi Arabia Masters two weeks ago and he is the man to beat this week in Brentwood. The left hander is the defending champion at the English Open and I fancy the world number one can retain his title.

Kyren Wilson

50 EW

The world champion has made moves early season and he won the Xian Grand Prix over in China beating Trump and O’Sullivan en route to victory. The Warrior now has the confidence in these big events and back in England I fancy Kyren Wilson is in the better half of the draw and he goes all the way to the final.
22:45 Pure Insurance Championship

Ken Duke

30 EW

Tied 7th last week at the Sanford International and I fancy Ken Duke can build on that this week at the Pure Insurance Championship. Tied 7th two years ago at this event where he was the only player in the top ten to not shoot under par on Sunday, I am siding with the American going well around Pebble Beach.

Mark Hensby

30 EW

There has only been a couple of top 20 finishes since July for the Australian at the Senior Players Championship and Ally Challenge but he has played well at Pebble Beach the last couple of years. 11th here twelve months ago closing with a final round of six under, I fancy Mark Hensby can fly under the radar and post a high finish at the Pure Insurance Championship.

Rod Pampling

30 EW

Rod Pampling has registered finishes of tied 7th and tied 11th the last two years at the Pure Insurance Championship and with a couple of top 15’s recently at the Ally Challenge and Ascension Charity Classic, I fancy the Australian can put a good week together at Pebble Beach.

Thongchai Jaidee

60 WIN

Tim ONeal

30 EW

Tied 7th last week at the Sanford International and the American can take great confidence from that performance fiving how strong the field was at Minnehaha Country Club. Tim O’Neal was 11th at the Senior Players at Firestone earlier this year and I fancy he might fly under the radar this week to register another good finish on the Champions Tour.
3rd January 2025
19:15 PDC World Championship 2025

Michael Smith

50 WIN

Michael Smith won the 2023 World Championship and after a quiet season by his standards leading up to his defence, I fancy we see Bully Boy bounce back in style this year at The Ally Pally. Runner up in 2022, I am siding with the St Helens man going all the way to lift the Sid Waddell Trophy for a second time.

Rob Cross

25 EW

Rob Cross was a beaten semi finalist twelve months ago at the Ally Pally in London and he is a former world champion lifting the Sid Waddell trophy back in 2018. The Englishman tends to produce his best towards the back end of the year at the Grand Slam and Worlds and I fancy Voltage can contend for a second PDC World Title.
