STEVEOCN's Tips

8th February 2025
12:30 Bradford v Harrogate Town

Bradford

75 WIN

Bradford City have won six on the bounce at Valley Parade and I fancy they will get the better of Harrogate in this early kick off. Three straight defeats for 20th place Harrogate and with Bradford in such excellent form at home, I am siding with the City win.
12:30 Sunderland v Watford

Sunderland

75 WIN

Sunderland can move level on points with Burnley and Sheffield United with a home win in this early kick off and after beating Middlesbrough in the Tees Wear Derby I fancy they will be up for this meeting with Watford. The Hornets have lost three in a row and after losing 2-0 at the Stadium of Light last season, I am siding with the home Sunderland win.
14:15 Italy v Wales

Italy

To Win

75 WIN

Italy went toe to toe with Scotland for an hour before losing 31-19, and I fancy they will beat Wales in their first home game. 24-21 last year in this Championship, and I am siding with Italy producing the goods in Rome to beat the Welsh.
15:00 Bolton v Crawley Town

Bolton

75 WIN

Bolton Wanderers won 2-0 away to Crawley Town earlier this season and they won the previous meeting 4-1 against them. Six defeats in nine with just one win for Crawley would suggest they will struggle away to Bolton and I fancy a ninth win in thirteen games at the Community Stadium for Wanderers.
15:00 Crewe v Newport County

Crewe

75 WIN

Crewe Alexandra are fifth in League Two and they have proved themselves to be a resolute side in this division. Newport County haven’t won away since October and with four defeats in five on the road, I fancy Crewe can pick up a big three points at Gresty Road.
15:00 Forest Green v Eastleigh

Forest Green

75 WIN

Forest Green are second in the National League and four points behind Barnet with a game in hand. Three straight defeats for Eastleigh and Forest Green beat them 3-1 away from home earlier this season. I fancy Rovers are again too good, and they will win for a third straight time at home this afternoon.
15:00 Lincoln City v Cambridge Utd

Lincoln City

75 WIN

Lincoln City have won the last three head to head games to nil against Cambridge United scoring eleven goals in the process. United are bottom of League One and with no away wins since early November I fancy Lincoln City will pick up a home three points this afternoon.
15:00 Notts County v Morecambe

Notts County

75 WIN

Notts County are third in League Two, and they have a couple of games in hand on second place Doncaster Rovers, who played Thursday night. Morecambe have lost five in six and got hammered 5-0 at Meadow Lane last season. I fancy Notts County to win again to bolster their promotion hopes.
15:00 Rochdale v Ebbsfleet United

Rochdale

125 WIN

Rochdale are seventh in the National League, and with three games in hand, they could really push for the top three. Four home wins in five for Rochdale, and after bottom side Ebbsfleet lost their last two to nil, I fancy the Dale home win this afternoon.
15:00 Rotherham v Shrewsbury

Rotherham

75 WIN

Rotherham have won three of their last four at home, and with Shrewsbury on a run of three straight away defeats, I fancy the hosts will get it done this afternoon. Shrewsbury haven’t won away since October and have won once on the road since the beginning of March last season. I am siding with the Rotherham result.
15:00 Sheff Utd v Portsmouth

Sheff Utd

75 WIN

Sheffield United had a good win last weekend against Derby County to erase the 3-0 defeat to Hull City. I fancy they get the job done this afternoon at home to Pompey. Seven straight away defeats for Portsmouth, and I am siding with The Blades getting it done at Bramall Lane this afternoon.
16:45 England v France

France

To Win

75 WIN

France have beaten England the last three years in the Six Nations and after a commanding opener beating Wales 43-0 I fancy the French will win at Twickenham. 53-10 when they last visited, I am siding with a big performance away from home to make it two from two for France.
9th February 2025
12:15 Qatar Masters

Antoine Rozner

25 EW

The Frenchman returns to the DP World Tour after a couple of weeks over in America, and I fancy Antoine Rozner will contend at Doha Golf Club. Sixth twelve months ago in the Qatar Masters, and he is a former winner of this event in the Far East. I am siding with Rozner plotting his way through tricky conditions to challenge for a fourth tour win.

Jordan Smith

25 EW

Jordan Smith was 6th in 2017 at the Qatar Masters and in his last start two years ago was 5th in Doha with four rounds in the sixties. The Englishman has won in the United Arab Emirates on the Challenge Tour and with multiple top ten finishes in this part of the world I fancy Smith has a big week at Doha Golf Club.

Nacho Elvira

25 EW

Tied 13th twelve months ago at the Qatar Masters and the Spaniard has the all around game to plot his way around Doha Golf Club. He won the Soudal Open on the DP World Tour last year and with three top ten finishes since 2017 in the Qatar Masters, I fancy Nacho Elvira is a big price back on a course he knows his way around.

Ricardo Gouveia

25 EW

14th in the Dubai Desert Classic, 36th in the Ras Al Khaimah Championship and 21st at the Bahrain Championship, I fancy Ricardo Gouveia can fly under the radar this week in Qatar. Conditions in Doha will be similar to those he has faced in his homeland many a time and after a 7th place finish here in 2017, I am siding with the Portuguese posting a big four days in the Middle East.
15:00 Scotland v Ireland

Ireland

To Win

75 WIN

Ireland opened up with a home win against England and they fought to beat the old enemy 27-22. The Irish have won the last ten against Scotland and the hosts found it hard to shake off Italy last weekend. I fancy Ireland will focus on the Scottish weaknesses and I am siding with a Murrayfield win for the defending champions.
22:45 Founders Cup

Minjee Lee

25 EW

Minjee Lee was tied 4th at the Hilton Grand Vacations Tournament of Champions and she closed with a ten under par final round of 62 in Florida. The Australian won the Founders Cup back in 2022 and she has since been runner up in this event losing out in a play off. I fancy with a good record at the Founders that Lee will challenge in the sunshine state again this week on the LPGA Tour.
22:45 WM Phoenix Open

Cameron Young

25 EW

13th at the Hero World Challenge and 8th at The Sentry in his last four starts, and I fancy TPC Scottsdale is a course that should really suit Cameron Young given the way he drives the ball. Tied 8th twelve months ago in Phoenix with a closing 71 to lose some ground, I am siding with the American putting four good rounds together this week to mount a challenge for the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

Sam Burns

25 EW

8th at The Sentry to start the year, and I fancy the American is set for a big week in Arizona. 22nd last week at Pebble Beach, carding four rounds of 71 or better, Sam Burns has been top six the last two years at TPC Scottsdale. He closed with a round of 64 twelve months ago, and I am siding with a big week in Phoenix for the multiple tour winner.

Si Woo Kim

25 EW

Si Woo Kim has been trending in the right direction each visit to TPC Scottsdale and the last three years he has finished 26th, 23rd and 12th. 12th last week at Pebble Beach closing with a Sunday 67, I fancy the Korean will put four good rounds together at the Waste Management Phoenix Open.

Tom Kim

25 EW

Tom Kim was tied 17th twelve months ago at TPC Scottsdale, and after an opening 74, he carded rounds of 66, 67, and 67 to post the top 20 finish. Tied 7th last week at Pebble Beach, I fancy he ticks a lot of boxes this week in Phoenix, and I am siding with Kim going low to land a fourth PGA Tour win on a course that really suits his eye.
16th March 2025
20:00 Six Nations 2025

Ireland

100 WIN

Ireland are the defending champions in the Six Nations, and I fancy, to a man, they have the best squad in this year's Championship. Four titles since 2014, and I am siding with the Irish, who have home games against England and France this year. So, I feel it's in their hands to retain this Six Nations.
29th May 2025
19:00 Premier League Darts 2025

Luke Littler

250 WIN

Luke Littler topped the group standings with four night wins last year in the Premier League and he went on to finals night to beat Michael Smith and Luke Humphries to lift the Premier League trophy. The Nuke has since become the Grand Slam Champion and the World Champion and I fancy the world number two is the man to beat in this year’s Premier League, Littler to go back to back is the play.
3rd January 2026
20:00 PDC World Championship 2026

Luke Littler

250 WIN

The defending champion beat Michael van Gerwen twelve months ago to become the world champion at the age of 17. I fancy he returns to the Ally Pally stage very much the man everyone has to beat. The Nuke has reached the final the last two years in London, and I am siding with Luke Littler becoming a two-time world champion.
