I am 100% OLBG! There may be some imitations, but there is only ONE OLBG! Former UK betting shop manager and racing follower for over 40 years, now self-employed providing publishing services and resident in Texas, USA. It took me a long time, and a lot of losing, to work out what it took to make a profit at betting. Mainly it comes down to discipline, and recording every bet that you make. I like to think I have a keen eye for value and made a profit for nine out of the last ten years I was betting, having not bet for about eight years previously, although betting is no longer an option for me (illegal in this state). I am an avid reader of horse/sports betting writing. One piece of advice I can give? Read as much as you can. These days there is so much information to be had that you just cannot ignore it if you want to be able to make a profit. The Racing Post (paper and online) is an outstanding source of information, for example. I only ever bet singles, and virtually always to win - regardless of the odds - and always took the price because it's at that price that I'm seeing the value. Since joining OLBG I've become more involved in the American Football area. The forum for American Football is superb, and full of highly knowledgeable people. It rekindled my interest in NFL which had dropped to just ante-post outright bets for several years. Of course now I'm in Texas I support the Cowboys and the Texas Rangers! I recommend OLBG to everyone I know who likes a bet or who just loves sports interactions. It's an invaluable resource, and teaching tool, for existing and new punters. The knowledge shown by many members of OLBG is an outstanding tool in the search for profit.
