There has been an exciting sponsorship announcement on Tuesday, August 20th with bet365 now confirmed as the first-ever betting brand to sponsor the UEFA Champions League.

UEFA's elite European competition now has one of the world's leading online betting companies as a partner with the Champions League now seeing bet365 as a key sponsor.

The Champions League is set to have a brand-new format this year with one big league table and 36 teams competing against each other in the league phase.

Three-year partnership with exposure on media backdrops, LEDs and UCL digital channels

The three-year global partnership covers sponsorship of the men’s competition, with brand exposure on in-game perimeter LED boards, media backdrops and UEFA Champions League digital channels.

This season sees the Champions League feature four English teams as usual with Man City, Arsenal, Liverpool and Aston Villa all entering.
