He was strongly fancied and supported through the day when unseating his jockey at Chepstow back on 28th February, but prior to that he was in good form. Luke again takes the ride. I was envisaging around 6/4??'13/8; at 9/4 the price has to be taken on value alone. On form he holds outstanding claims in this. The trainer had a 2/3/8th since the weekend; the latter was 200/1. She had a couple of winners last week.

Cosmic Soul returns to hurdling, having won his latest race on the all-weather at Southwell over two miles in January, where Blackwater Lilly also ran a poor 7th, nearly 27 lengths behind. Could go one better than his last hurdle run when 2nd at Perth.
