Woolhampton represents the in form Rod Millman stable in this competitive sprint handicap. His recent form is not inspiring, however he does go well on soft ground. He likes a stiff track, particularly Ascot, so Sandown should be ideal. His current price of 7/2 is not value, hopefully he might drift a bit before the off.

Talented mare who landed an 8th career victory at Bath in April. Solid efforts thereafter until well beaten in class 3 last time. Very much of interest back down in class this afternoon.

A lot of moving parts as is typical for this kind of race here but Blind Beggar appears to be the most interesting from a value betting perspective. Better strike rate on all-weather, but as far as turf goes, conditions here are pretty close to optimal for him and when things line up, he's as good as anything in this race. Makes yard debut having changed hands for barely more than 1st place here, which is usually not a great sign, but I feel the risksa re well compensated at such long odds and an E/W bet strikes me as a good play.
