Usually a pretty consistent performer, he has returned this term in fine form. He looked in need of a step back up in trip on his most recent start, when finishing a creditable 3rd of 7 to David's Well at Cheltenham (2m 62yds) on good to soft ground in a Class 2 Handicap Chase last month. That was a fine effort despite his age, and he is very much of interest off the same mark.
