Has won over C&D twice before. Has not been seen to best effect recently but does appear to be on a good mark. Should go well.

Sixcor is a 7-year-old bay gelding by Sixties Icon out of Roccor, trained by Miss L. A. Perratt, and will be partnered by David Egan. He lines up here off an official rating of 47, which gives him every chance in this grade. Hes a seasoned sprinter and he knows exactly how to handle the sharp 5f at Musselburgh, where he’s gone well before. He’s been running consistently in similar company, with a win at Hamilton earlier in the season and a string of solid efforts that show he retains plenty of speed. He clearly doesnt like anything on the softer side of recent with his last two runs showing it and it was a fast turnaround. Hes a lb higher than his last winning mark of 46 and hes placed off 49 so hes in a good position here to give a good run especially under David egan. Hes drawn 1 so there can be a slight advantage over this 5f trip so I hope he can get his head in front.

Has won 9 and finished 2nd in 10 of 68 starts. Has dropped considerably in weight and ran well at Carlisle last time. Holds an each-way chance.
