Kingkeer, This the horse's first run for new trainer S. Dow. For his first stable run he races off a mark 73, 5lbs high than his last win at Windsor under former trainer H. Morrison. The horse ran a nice race two starts back at Kempton over 10f finishing 2nd, finding one horse too good for him. Kingkeer's last run was over 12f when he was purposely placed at the back, so he couldn't run a race, under jockey Hector Crouch. This race at Lingfield will prove to be a nice contest for Kingkeer, with Paddy Bradley taking over in the driving seat. This trainer and jockey combination seem to do well at Lingfield aswell, so that was another plus for me. Hopefully, Paddy rides him prominently over this 1 mile trip. This is the gelding's first try over the 1 mile trip in his career aswell, so hopefully it suits. 12/1 seems overpriced to me, so very good value to be had here. This would of been a fantastic ew bet if 3 places however, 7 runners go to post in this race so just a straight win.
