7:10 Kempton Tips

LOCAL HERO has won three races from 7f to 1m. He was second over 1m at Kempton on his latest outing last month. The course, distance, and surface should suit him. He seems well treated and could well be able to go one better and win this race.

Estmrar has to be my pick for this. Returned from a break in August to a C5 maiden and won by over 2L when first up after wind surgery. Returns today for handicap debut on a decent mark. I always expect more when second up after WS with Harry Davies in the saddle who was on top for that last win.

Footwork looks to be progressing with each run. He was a close 3rd last time out, just a length behind Olympic Candle, the 3/1 favourite, and that came after a comfortable 3-length win on his previous start. He posted a stronger performance in defeat last time, suggesting he’s still improving. There doesn’t appear to be a lot of pace on here, so he could well get an easy lead, and he drops 10lb in weight from that last run. Same jockey booked again, which is a positive. The favourite, Local Hero, looks short enough at 15/8, especially without his usual low draw. Footwork looks a solid alternative at the prices and should give another good account.

HERCULEUS has won two races at 1m. Thirteenth over 1m at Newbury on his latest outing last month. Course distance and surface should suit. Seems well treated and could well be able to win this race.

With exception of good effort on prior run @ Goodwood, has not shown that much on turf of late. However, they were all decent class 2 handicaps and is making Aw debut here in a class 3, off decent mark of 91. Good jockey retains ride and very shrewd trainer is 20 percent with a Lsp of 77.33 last 14 days, making current 18/1 decent Ew value here.

Daughter of Zoustar & Rich Legacy ( Dam's sire Holy Roman Emperor ) who packs a lot more punch than the form book on paper is currently suggesting and is not one to underestimate here was last seen at Southwell 31 days ago where finishing 8th/9 however she was repeatedly denied a clear run at very crucial stages of the race and that was also her return run after a 54 day break and is most certainly entitled to strip fitter with that run under her belt currently operating on a mark of 89 George Boughey's inmate looks poised to bounce and strike especially having found a suitable class 3 handicap to engage in here with his ideal pace level very well likely to be at his disposal given the horses enrolled to run here jockey Billy Loughnane takes the ride and can give Bountiful the perfect ride here at Kempton .
