2:10 Kelso Tips

Best effort last season came first time up, so perhaps fresh is going to be the time to catch him. Starts out for Dan Skelton here after a wind op. That stable has done very well over the years when they send chasers to Kelso.

Golden Point has shown improved form over hurdles, taking her first hurdles win 3 outings back followed by a decent effort next time out on her handicap debut when 7 lengths 2nd of 13 in a Class 4 handicap and put in another decent effort in her last run when beaten 8¾ lengths in a listed Hurdle. She makes her Chase debut today on returning from a 7 months break and if she can hold off her stable mate Cosmic Blizzard I reckon the race is there for her taking and a decent odds of 5.50

Impressive Irish Point winner, who failed to shine over hurdles in 3 runs @ Ayr. However, chasing debut on return Lto was not devoid of promise, pieces on first time today, good jockey retains ride and shrewd trainer who has a good record in this race, best here with his chasers last 5 seasons @ 33 percent, making current 9/1 very good Ew value in the race.

Still to win in sixteen races, but was 3rd here last time out by just a neck, which was a huge improvement and best form so far for the past two years. Goes again on the same mark for the same jockey, with perhaps a similar effort on the cards here at a slightly shorter track.

He finished 2nd over hurdles here last year and he was in the frame in two of his point to points including a neck 2nd on one of those starts. He is closely related to chase winner Whisky Lullaby and should run well.
