Square Dalboni makes the trip north from Dan Skelton's yard to Catterick after a 3rd place at Newbury in his first hurdle race following a decent career on the Flat.

This 4-year-old, a Flat winner, is still in the process of adapting to hurdles. He showed signs of improvement by finishing 5th at Musselburgh at the beginning of this month. If he can improve his jumping and settle better in the early parts of the race, it would be a major advancement. With a first-time hood, he could very well be in the running. Currently, an each-way bet at 22/1 looks great value.
