Was a nice price last night for an each-way saver, but now is only backable for the win. Out of form of late, but the stable is bullish and he is working well at home, so improvement can be expected.

Didn't run to his best last time out. However, that was in a big field so I'm willing to draw a line through that race and focus on the form prior which makes for more interesting reading. Should be a big player and handicapped well here.

Woodstock won three times last season off marks of 77, 80 and 82 and was 3rd off 80 on his only visit to Catterick. Stayed on well last time out and looks ready to go close.

5-time winner who has won twice over this course and distance. Disappointing in 2 races since the latest win here, but no surprise to see bouncing back here.

This one has won his last 2 races off a high of 62 and, not for the first time, followed up off similar marks. He now goes up to an all-time high of 70 and has never got the treble, but current form could see a first treble if the course suits, being first time here.

Has not been getting beat that far of late and than includes @ this class 4 level. Retains a nice mark of 75 here, blinkers on first time today, good jockey back up who has gone well on selection in the past and in hands of a very good trainer, making current 7/1 very good Ew value in the race.

Yaaser can go well for the Jim Goldie yard. Yaaser has won in two races this season, ran well at York in a large field last time out, and has won over today's trip. Can go well with ground to help.

Three-time C&D champion. Achieved 4 victories out of 22 races this year. Recently finished 7th in a handicap at Ayr just 9 days ago, fading from 2 out. She is a strong candidate to recover, although this race is more challenging than her usual events. Nevertheless, the 25/1 odds present a great opportunity for an each-way bet for those seeking value.

DANZAN is a legend. His loyal connections will have been looking through the window at the winning connections sipping champagne with alarming regularity. 29-places and 7-wins is not a bad haul and although this veteran is a 6f horse, he may just get away with 7f round here. I see no justification for his price today. A repeat of his July form at Ayr (2-runs, both earning RPR of 72) would see the popular horse in the frame once again.
