Daniel Brown has made only sporadic appearances on the DP World Tour over the past five years, but when he has teed it up, the results have been respectable. The South African swing on the HotelPlanner Tour has suited him nicely, producing an impressive run in the top 10.

Alejandro del Rey hasn’t exactly been setting leaderboards alight recently, but his form is far from poor. Making seven cuts in his last eight full-field starts shows a level of consistency. Should his approach numbers tick upward, he’ll generate plenty of birdies, and we’ve already seen how dangerous he becomes when driving and irons click in tandem.

Dean Burmester has positioned himself superbly on the LIV circuit, collecting a couple of wins over the past two seasons. He already proved his credentials at this event, claiming victory in 2024 at Blair Atholl. A sixth-place finish last time out in Adelaide should serve as ideal preparation.

David Ford has been remarkably consistent with his iron play, gaining strokes on approach in every start since October. He’s also proven himself to be a reliable and accurate driver. If his short game falls into place at the right time, he looks poised to convert strong tee-to-green performances into something more significant.

Patrick Brennan announced himself in emphatic fashion with victory at the Bank of Utah Championship last October. A powerful driver of the ball, this layout may slightly blunt his biggest weapon. Statistically, there are positives to cling to. He ranked 20th in Strokes Gained: Off the Tee and 25th in Approach Play at The Amex.

Garrick Higgo tends to come alive in coastal or wind-affected conditions. His victory in Puntacana, two more along the shoreline in the Canary Islands, and another triumph at the Palmetto Championship at Congaree near the U.S. East Coast all point to a player who relishes this type of examination. Just a few weeks ago he was sent off at 70/1 for the WM Phoenix Open, lining up in a field stacked with elite names.

I also like Johnny's chance in the overall market. His approach play has been brilliant this season, though he needs to improve on his short game.
