Aston Villa won 4-1 at home against Newcastle last season. Newcastle did not win any preseason matches, and there are questions around Isak. It doesn't look good for them in the week 1 match against Villa.

West Ham finished 14th last season with just 11 wins in 38 matches. Sunderland is a newly promoted team, so there are some questions about how they will do in the PL. But for the first match at home, I don't have any doubts they will play with absolutely their best effort and will give West Ham a fight. I pick a draw.

Tottenham almost beat PSG in the Super Cup match. The new coach and some new players will spark the team. I expect them to start well with a win at home against the newcomers.

Fulham is a very hard opponent for Brighton. Brighton beat them just once in the last 10 matches. While they start at home, I think Brighton will get a point, but winning against this team will be hard. 1-1.

After a rough season, Man City will take it very seriously from week 1. They made some good signings that should recharge the team. Wolves lost Cunha, which is a big loss for them. I think they will struggle with getting points in the first match. Man City 2-0.
