A must win game for Lithuania if they have any chance of qualification. The reverse fixture saw a 0-0 draw and Malta have yet to register a single goal in the qualifiers. I am expecting a 1-0 or 2-0 win to Lithuania.

A group in which both teams here will be looking to secure 2nd spot to likely group winners Spain. In which case, both teams will not want to lose the opening qualifying game. Both teams have the quality going forward, and I expect goals in what I believe will result in a draw.

Belgium are overwhelming favourites here against one of the weakest European teams in the qualifiers. Liechtenstein have yet to register a goal and Belgium must win to maintain pressure on the teams currently above them. 1/3 odds are quite skinny but the outcome is of relative certainty.

The outcome is very much expected to be a Spain win here, though 1/9 is of no price. I expect Spain to have complete control of the game, as they do against most opposition they face. I don't believe Bulgaria have the quality to score a goal against this current Spain, especially if it is to be believed that Rodri will be getting minutes.

Netherlands are very much firm favorites here. I expect them to control the tempo of the game and to maintain being defensively resolute. They have yet to concede a goal in the qualifiers, and taking into account that Robert Lewandowski has barely any minutes in the legs after returning from injury, Poland may struggle for attacking threat.

Germany are coming into this fixture with a depleted frontline, short of attacking threat/options. I can see this being a tight affair and low scoring.

After a dismal 3-0 defeat to group leaders Norway, Italy will be looking for a better performance but more importantly, result. This is a must win game for Italy if they are to qualify for the World Cup. Being at home, I think a clean sheet has to be on the cards.
