Portland Timbers have only won once away at Real Salt Lake since 2019 and I fancy the hosts will get the win tonight in the MLS. Real have beaten Los Angeles Galaxy and Seattle Sounders at home and after Portland were beaten 4-1 away to San Jose Earthquakes I am siding with the home win for Salt Lake.

Five straight head-to-head wins for Germany against Portugal, and with home advantage at the Allianz Arena in Munich tonight, I fancy the Germans will play to their strengths and beat Ronaldo and Co. in this semi-final. They have won four of their last six games, with two of them finishing 2-1 against Italy and Bosnia. With the home crowd at Bayern’s stadium, I am siding with both teams to score and Germany to run out winners by the odd goal in three.

It finished 4-2 to Germany the last time these nations met back in the 2021 European Championship and the two meetings since 2014 have seen ten goals scored. Five of the last six encounters between Germany and Portugal have had over 2.5 goals and I fancy more of the same in this Nations League clash at the Allianz Arena.

The last head-to-head meeting between Germany and Portugal was back in 2021, and the Germans won 4-2 thanks to the help of two own goals. Five straight wins against the Portuguese dating back to 2000, and after knocking Italy out in the quarter-finals, I fancy it's hard not to side with a rejuvenated German side to beat Portugal and reach the Nations League Final.

Spain beat France in the semi-finals of the European Championship last July, and they have won fifteen of their last seventeen internationals. The French made hard work of Croatia in the quarter-finals, and before that, Israel held them to a 0-0 draw. I fancy, man for man, the Spaniards will be too good in Stuttgart tonight, and the European Champions will outclass Les Bleus.

The last two head-to-head meetings have ended 2-1 between Spain and France, and their last encounter was eleven months ago in the European Championship semi-finals. Spain beat Germany, France, and England 2-1 in their last three matches to lift the Henri Delaunay trophy, and I fancy they will edge out France by the odd goal in three tonight in Stuttgart.

Both of Spain’s quarter-finals against the Netherlands finished 2-2, and I fancy there will be goals in this game against France. The two head-to-head meetings with Les Bleus since 2021 both finished 2-1, and with the last five for the European Champions, Spain, all having over 2.5 goals, I am siding with an open end-to-end game at the MHP Arena in Stuttgart.
