Danish champions FC Copenhagen did their job in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday, knocking out Drita (Kosovo) and are looking to continue the good run in the Superliga. Both sides drew 1-1 in a friendly on 8th July, but I now see the visitors as strong favorites to grab all points after winning their two opening games in the league.

Vejle Boldklub are yet to win after two games, managing a point at home to Randers FC (1-1) and losing 2-0 at FC Copenhagen. Odense BK are doing better with 4 points so far, and this can go either way. The visitors have scored 6 but allowed 4 goals in their 2 matches. 3-2 last season here and BTTS again.

CSKA 1948 Sofia had a good start and look better at the moment, having collected 4 points from their 2 opening games. They beat tough Arda 1-0 at home and drew 1-1 at solid Beroe. Septemvri Sofia lost their 2 matches so far, managing 1 goal and conceding 7, and lost their last 4 at CSKA 1948 Sofia.

CSKA 1948 Sofia look stronger at the moment, and I see them as favorites to beat Septemvri, though this is a local derby. The visitors have scored 1 goal only and conceded 7 in their 2 matches at the start of the season and lost to nil in the last 4 visits to CSKA 1948, including the 2-0 and 2-0 losses in the last 2 here.

Both sides have seen over 2.5 goals in the last 4 head-to-heads in Linz and in 5 of the last 6. Both teams are offensively-minded, and I expect another high-scoring Austrian Bundesliga opener.

Defending champions SK Sturm Graz face a tough trip to Linz, and this will be tight. The visitors have some key players who left the club, and the new signings will need time to adapt. Therefore, I see value in backing LASK to not lose, as it happened in 4 of the last 5 head-to-head meetings here.

Hertha Berlin looked solid in the preparation phase and look slight favorites. Hosts look like a work in progress, and there is much to be done, especially in defense. It's a tight one as both sides have high ambitions, but the visitors look better at the moment.

A tough opener for both sides in the 2. Bundesliga, with both aspiring for a return to the top flight. Head-to-head stats suggest goals, as their last two in the 1. These two newcomers to the top flight will want a result as both are expected to fight for survival. Csikszereda Miercurea Ciuc started with a home draw against Dinamo Bucuresti but lost their next two and are already at the bottom of the table. Arges Pitesti lost their first two but against strong opponents, but bounced back with a stunning 2-0 win at title candidates CFR Cluj. Hosts doubled Csikszereda Miercurea Ciuc last season in the lower league, winning 3-0 at home and 4-0 away.

3-2-3 in the last 5 H2Hs and this can go either way, but a draw is definitely on the cards. CSKA Sofia had a slow and disappointing start with 2 draws in the new season under new coach Dusan Kerkez, and have huge problems with the fans already. Hosts look better at the moment having collected 4 points from their 2 matches, and though slight favorites, I see both sides sharing the spoils. 2-2 draw last season here.

Basel will want to bounce back from the bitter 2-1 loss at St. Gallen on Day 1. Grasshoppers won 2 of the last 3 here, but Basel have a strong H2H record against the Hoppers, winning 3 of the last 4 H2Hs. The visitors were stunned 3-2 at home by Luzern, and this looks like a home win.

Over +2.50 goals looks likely. Basel lost 2-1 at St. Gallen, and Grasshoppers lost 3-2 at home to Luzern. Two of the last three H2Hs have gone over, and Basel won 2-1 last time here.

Both sides lost their openers and drew 1-1 in a friendly in July. But I see the hosts as favorites to collect all points at home. Newly-promoted RAAL La Louviere will fight hard but need time to accommodate. Gent have more class and experience, and the home advantage on their side.

SJK are out of the Conference League and will want a result at home in Seinajoki. KTP are fighting for their lives and have improved, scoring 11 goals in their last 6 in the Veikkausliiga. The visitors beat SJK at their OmaSp Stadion 3-2 last season here, and BTTS is my call.

Union Saint Gilloise are one of the title favorites in the Jupiler Pro League and will want all points at their Stade Joseph Marien in Brussels after the 1-1 draw at Antwerp. OH Leuven started with a 2-2 home draw against Charleroi and are a tricky team, but still, I expect a narrow home win like the 1-0 last season here in January 2025.

Levski Sofia will not be fresh after the Europa League trip to Braga. But no matter what happens there tonight, Levski had a good start in the domestic league and look stronger under the new coach. Expectations are high, and though this is a local derby, a home win at Vivacom Arena Georgi Asparuhov looks likely. Moreove Slavia have been inconvincing at the start(0-1-1)

HJK Helsinki are involved in Europe and may not be fresh after the tough encounter they face today against Bulgarian Arda after the 0-0 draw in the first leg. FC Inter have been solid and tough to beat, and as the last 3 H2Hs in the Veikkausliiga have stayed under, I expect another low-scoring affair.

Both sides have managed one point each from their two games in the league, and this is expected to be another tough and close affair. Arda Kardzhali are involved in Europe and travel to Plovdiv after a tight match at Finnish HJK and will not be fresh. Though not great scorers (1 goal in the last 3 in all competitions), the visitors are tight at the back. The last 3 and 5 of the last 6 H2Hs have stayed under, including the last 3 in Plovdiv.

PSG had a great season and now will want to win the UEFA Super Cup at the Stadio Friuli in Udine, Italy. The question remains how fresh they will be after the summer involvements. Still, there is enough class in the French team to outscore the Europa League winners Tottenham, as the latter have failed to impress.
