The Nuke is the player to beat here. However, I can see him losing a couple of sets against the world number one. I envisaged the handicap line being +2.5, so at a set higher he's got to be the play.

World number 2 has had a decent twelve months, and as this championship goes into a longer format, he continues to improve. Only 'The Nuke' can beat him on current 3-dart averages. He'll need his A game tonight to beat Gian, who will fear nothing, having beaten Humphries four times since the spring. Luke is a generous price at 4/6, which could be an absolute humdinger.

This has the makings of a classic. Both players are scoring extremely well. It would come as no surprise if those were to go all the way.

It would come as no surprise this went to a deciding set. Therefore, on the handicap with a 2.5 game start, Gian is the call.

Luke has been starting his games slowly, and value lies with Gian to get the first set. If throwing first can land the first blow. I envisaged 5/6 the pair at evens; we are getting a little value.

This market could be close, and the 9/1 on offer for the tie makes some appeal. Especially if both players continue to show what they've shown to date here.

When I priced this market up in number of sets and 180s I had this at 20.5, so 22.5 looks too high. I'm going unders.
