Remco Evenepoel is the current world champion and recently finished third in the Tour de France, winning one of the time trials there.He does his best work on a flat course, which is exactly what he has got at the Olympics this year. His main competition seems to come from Tarling, but his broken knee in April has meant competitive racing has been limited. We all saw what a major injury did to Vingegaard in the Tour.
