I have been passionate about horse racing since I was knee high to a grasshopper with my first favourite horses being Sea Pigeon and Night Nurse My Dad would allow me to pick out some horses and I would wait outside the betting shop while he put my 10p win doubles on and I always insisted on paying to tax. I used to wake up on the eve of the Grand National lime it was Christmas morning and by the time of the race would have learned all the jockey colours. My school report noted that although I did okay at school I was often absent during Cheltenham week. When I left school I used to have teachers asking me for tips. All that studying served me well. I am also a Maths teacher and am sure my maths skills comes from working out the odds from a very young age. My passion has never left me and today I enjoy writing up my tips on social media and studying the form. I do prefer National Hunt racing and am often at the track and have more recently started to enjoy the Point to Point scene. I am lucky enough to be involved in a few horses and the highlight is going to the stables to see these beautiful animals in their home or on the gallops. I am looking forward to being involved in this group and making many more friends.

She has really improved and has a good profile to step up again and run a big race with Hollie Doyle on board. She does have to overcome an unfavorable draw, but with Hollie doing the steering, a big run is likely, and this filly cannot be dismissed.

Konfusion made it 2 wins from 4 when winning very impressively last time after being stepped up to 3 miles. This race is tougher, and he does have the weight burden, but underfoot conditions will suit, and he tackles the 3 miles again today. He had a very consistent and progressive autumn campaign over 7 furlongs, and the step back to this distance today is a positive. Zak Wheatley takes a further 3lb off his back and gets on very well with the horse, being the jockey who won on him in the autumn. A big run is expected, having already got this spring campaign off to a flying start.

Lady Jago comes into this race on the back of two very impressive wins. The latter of these was at Warwick at the back end of March, where she barely broke a sweat in a 12-length success. This race is a little stronger despite the small field, and my selection does carry a penalty. However, the quick turnaround ensures she remains ahead of the handicapper despite the penalty burden. Dan Skelton is looking to pick up the winner's purse here in the race for the trainers' championship and may well do so with Harry in the saddle. Sea Invasion, who thrives at this venue, could pose the biggest threat.

Thanks Dad battled on well to win gamely last time just holding off King Sharjah who reopposes him today. King Sharjah is weighted to reverse the form but with Tom Eaves retaining the ride and partnership there could be a little more improvement to come from my selection who tends to enjoy this venue. Therefore, it is worth sticking with Thanks Dad who looks to be a good each-way play.

But with the weight concession and Pittsburg being in the form of his life, he has a very good chance of pulling off the hat-trick.

With further improvement likely, it would be no surprise to see my selection follow up.

Jazzy Matty is versatile in regards to what sphere he runs in. He won the Grand Annual at the Cheltenham Festival last time out and reverts to hurdles today. Hopefully he will get the strongly run race that is predicted to fulfil his potential and he is able to follow up here.

My selection does have a tendency to jump right-handed, but with the in-form Jonathan Burke in the saddle, who boasts a 20% strike rate over the last 14 days, he should be conscious of this fact and manoeuvre my selection appropriately. This weaker race provides a good opportunity for my selection to once again get his head in front at the post.

The stiff finish at Cheltenham will help bring my selection's stamina into play, and on ground that should suit, she has an excellent chance today.
