However, this has allowed him to stay at the top of the championship and now with the need to go for the top spot he is sure to have a great race.

Max Verstappen's few wins this year have consolidated Piastri and Norris' lead over him in the championship. He has performed well this year even though his car has been unresponsive. He has made clear his ability to adapt to the dynamics of tricky circuits like this Canadian GP, where every lap counts.
