Galopin has often underperformed at this track at the end of the season and is yet to win a chase here. Spillane's Tower, I think, wants it softer.

Very impressive last time out. Needed all the 2 and a half mile trip to chase down the leader and win on the line. Gordon said he was going as fast as he could early, and the way he finished suggests 3m will suit. Hard to trust the favorite's jumping, and this track will suit a lot less than the lack of hurdles at the end of the race at Cheltenham.

Made it 3 in a row since being switched to the all-weather. The last race was run at a crawl, but he hit speeds of up to 41 mph, closing at the end of 2 miles, which is very quick for horses often found running over this distance on the all-weather. Can't see there being loads of pace in this race either, and he will take some beating.

Highly impressive debut when running out a 4-length winner. Extremely well-bred, being a full sister to a Derby winner. Gosden's had a nice week picking up the two big races at Newmarket this week. Dante entry, so you'd want to be winning this to go close there.

Flagon Dry improved to break his maiden when stepped up to a mile for the first time back in October. He has been given an opening mark of 73. The form of his win has worked out well, with the 2nd and 3rd both winning since and going on to be rated 77 and 84. The favorite here has run well on the AW since stepping up to a mile, but the form of those wins is against horses who rate much lower than what the selection has beaten. His form on turf is also suspect, and headgear is tried. Trainer at 77% running to form and brought one back from a break to finish 2nd on the flat this week, so we would hope Flagon Dry is fit and ready to go.

Yabher makes appeal here due to the form of his debut where he was sent off 33/1, suggesting he wasn't strongly fancied on the day. That day he beat a horse called Ride the Thunder by a nose, who then went on to be beaten a length by Almeric. Almeric went on to win the Fielden Stakes on Tuesday, posting an RPR of 111. This collateral form is the best on offer. It seems to suggest that Yabher could rate a fair bit better than his mark of 82. Haggas' form hasn't been the best to start the season, but he did produce a winner on Tuesday.
