Sergio Perez has hit rock bottom this season, having never finished higher than seventh since the Miami race. He has fallen a long way down the drivers' championship standings and greatly complicated Red Bull's chances of winning this season. So there is a lot of pressure from Red Bull on him, so he would have to start rebuilding his performance and it would not be unusual for him to finish on the podium.
