The Spaniard has played the last six Turkish Airlines Opens and his worst finish was 35th. He was runner-up twelve months ago in Turkey, and I am tipping Jorge Campillo will be able to put four big rounds together to challenge again.

Wu Yize reached the semi-finals of the World Open and Welsh Open in two of the last three tournaments. I am tipping he could have a big World Championship this year. The Chinese player can go toe to toe with the big names, and my tip is similar to Xintong last year: he produces the snooker to go all the way to the final.

The defending world champion won the Tour Championship and he is the in form player heading to Sheffield. In the half with John Higgins who he has a good record against and Ronnie who he beat here last year, I am tipping Zhao Xintong will be hard to stop and my tip is he wins a second world title.

Three seasons ago, Leeds United were relegated from the Premier League, and the season before, they only just survived, finishing a place above the drop zone. I have my doubts about Daniel Farke and the summer recruitment, whereas Sunderland and Burnley have bought well. I am tipping Leeds United will be relegated back down to the Championship after a long, hard season in the top flight.

St Helens are thirteen-time winners of the Challenge Cup, and only Leeds Rhinos and Wigan Warriors have won the competition more. They last won it in 2021, and I am tipping they are due a good run again. They have strengthened their squad, and my tip is they will lift the Challenge Cup.
Warrington Wolves

Warrington Wolves have reached the final of the Challenge Cup four times since 2016, and in the last two years they were beaten finalists. I am tipping another good cup run this season for Warrington, and my tip is they go all the way to the final again.

Manchester City reached the final in 2021 losing out to Chelsea and then in 2023 they lifted the Champions League trophy. Pep has refreshed the squad with some good additions including Reijnders and Cherki and I am tipping Manchester City will go all the way to win a second Champions League title this season.

Spain won the World Cup back in 2010 over in South Africa, and I am tipping they have the best squad assembled for the 2026 edition in the USA. Spain comes into this tournament as European Champions after winning the UEFA tournament in 2024, and it made them record winners with four titles. They have won three of the last five Euros, and with Yamal, Williams, and Rodri ready to spearhead the Spanish to more glory, my tip is Spain becomes two-time World Cup winners.

The European Champions will have the same squad with the likes of Yamal, Williams, and Rodri. I am tipping the 2010 World Cup winners can win it again to make them two-time champions of the world.
