rockabilly kat's Tips

21st May 2026
14:15 Soudal Open

Sam Bairstow

25 EW

Sam has not finished higher than 29th this year, but comes into this event making the cut in 8 of his last 9 events. With him striking the ball well, I fancy he can go close this weekend.
24th May 2026
16:00 Soudal Open

Frederic Lacroix

25 EW

Frédéric has shown in the last couple of years that he can put in good performances around this course. Last year he was 4th after 54 holes, and the year before that he was 11th at the halfway point.

Matthew Jordan

25 EW

Matthew may not be playing as well as last year, but his form is strong. He made the cut in his last 6 events, and I'm backing him to go close this weekend.

Nathan Kimsey

25 EW

Nathan has played some of his best golf on courses similar to this course, finishing 5th in Keene and very strong performances in the DFL. So it points to a good four days here.

Victor Perez

50 WIN

I fancy Victor for this event. He has been performing well on the LIV Tour and is improving all the time. I fancy this could be his week.
22:45 The CJ Cup Byron Nelson

Adrien Dumont De Chassart

25 EW

Adrian has made his last seven cuts, and I fancy in this kind of form around this course he could well go very close.

Austin Eckroat

25 EW

Austin comes into this event starting to perform well with the clubs. In this form, I fancy a good weekend for Austin.

Christiaan Bezuidenhout

25 EW

Christian performed well on his debut here in 2022 and on his so- and-so return finished 23rd. On both occasions his approach play was good, and I fancy he has a great chance this week.

Erik van Rooyen

25 EW

Erik Gamez has been poor, but his putting has been solid and his approach play is improving. I give him a chance.

Tips are normally be settled by 12pm the day after the event took place.
