Andrea performed well last week on a course that did not suit him. In his fourth round he shot a 75 that put him down to 14th, so overall he had a good weekend. I fancy he could do well around this course, with his driver working well for him.

Angel nearly missed the cut last week. He had to birdie his last three holes in his second round to get through. I was very impressed with his approach play, and I fancy he could have a big weekend and be the top European in this event.

Antoine Rozner

Antoine is a good performer at this level and out in the Middle East where he has plenty of top-ten finishes. Last year he was just outside the top ten in this event, and I only see him improving on that this year.
Daniel Hillier

Daniel Hiller comes into this event in good form. He has been in the top 10 at halfway in seven of his last eight events. With a good all-round game, I have to fancy his chances this weekend.
Sean Crocker

Sean has shown signs of improvement in his short game of late. His putter has been in good form, and with a long drive from the tee I fancy this American can go very close.
Zander Lombard

Zander has to be a good E/W play this weekend. With his powerful tee shots, he will have a massive weapon. Even if he's a little off course, this course will forgive him, and his length will give him a chance.

I'm going to side with one of my fav players, and that Barry Hawkins. He comes into this event scoring very well. With the matches up to the semi-final being best of nine frames, this short format could well suit Barry.
Jack Lisowski

This event looks wide open. These matches are short format, best of nine until the semifinals, and I fancy we will see a surprise winner. Jack is my fancy. His style, I think, will be great for these short-format matches.

I fancy Danny can put in a top performance in this event. He is constantly putting in big scores and has plenty of big checkouts. He is a very good player under pressure, and with all those weapons I fancy this year could well see him winning this event.
Nathan Aspinall

Nathan has been playing well in the last few events without winning an event, and I fancy he could well go close again with his ability to handle the pressure and never give up on a match. He has to be a solid E/W play.

Maverick played some solid golf last year. He had seven top-ten finishes, and five of those were in signature events. Then there were another six or seven results in the top 30.

Patrick comes into this event after playing his first event since the Ryder Cup, and I fancy a big performance now he is back in the groove. With the experience he has around here, I fancy he will go close.
Sam Stevens

I'm going to give Sam Stevens the vote in this event. Just 12 months ago he went very close to winning this event, only to fall a little short but finish as runner-up. I fancy he will be there again come the weekend.
Tony Finau

Tony has shown he is comfortable at this course. In his last ten appearances here he has finished in the top ten seven times. He has been lacking a top-ten finish for a while now but has been on the comeback after ankle surgery. At the price on offer, I have to back him E/W this weekend.

I fancy the Texans could make the Super Bowl final. They have one of the best defenses in the playoffs. They gave up the fewest yards per game, and there was only one other team that conceded fewer points in the regular season. With this defense, they will stay in games.
LA Rams

The Rams were in the hunt for the NFC No. 1 seed but lost out to Seattle, so they are now in the wild-card spot and will have to do it the hard way to win the Super Bowl. But they have shown in the regular season they are one of the better teams.
