Using cartoon-style graphics, the plain blue background sets the scene with the colourful alien symbols standing out. With a synthesizer soundtrack, you’ll hear the Gargantoon snoring as he sleeps in the corner of the screen. You’ll notice all the alien characters are animated showing their quirky characters.

On the 7x7 grid, you will come across 8 aliens. The low-value symbols include yellow, green, red and purple aliens which have one eyed. The high-value symbols are represented by blue, orange, bright green and pink aliens and have two eyes. The pink alien is the best-paying symbol awarding 750 times your total bet for 15 or more in a winning cluster.

Reactoonz comes with a Vortez Wild symbol that substitutes for all paying symbols to help create winning clusters. The other symbol of note is the Gargantoon which acts as a wild symbol and substitutes for all symbols. Below is a list of symbol payouts and functions:

Reactoonz Mobile

The Reactoonz grid slot comes with 9 bonus features. Cascades are critical to the gameplay as successive wins/cascades charge the meters and bring various Quantum Leap features into play. They include extra wilds, symbol destructions, diagonal lines of the same symbol and transforming symbols. With 3x3 wilds that break into two 2x2 wilds and then nine 1x1 wilds, there are more bonus features in the base game which add wilds to the grid and doubles Giantoonz wins.

Cascading Reels

Like with the majority of Cluster Pays slots, a winning cluster or winning clusters will lead to the winning symbols being removed from the grid. This sees the remaining symbols drop down to fill the empty positions.

Known as the Cascading Reels feature, new symbols then drop in from above to fill the new empty positions. Giving you the opportunity to land continuous wins, the cascades keep on coming as long as winning clusters are formed.

Quantum Leap

Every winning cluster charges the Quantum Leap. With 4 Quantum Leap meters, a random Quantum Leap feature is added to the queue after winning on 25 symbols. Up to 4 features can be queued and charging a fifth time will trigger the Gargantoon feature.

The Quantum feature(s) in the queue come into play and trigger when no more winning clusters are present on the grid. Here is what they offer:

• Implosion feature: Transforms 3 to 6 symbols into Vortex Wilds while destroying all adjacent symbols.
• Demolition feature: Destroys all instances of one-eyed alien symbols.
• Incision feature: A Vortex Wild symbol is cut into the centre, creating 2 intersecting diagonal lines through the grid. Both lines will display the same randomly chosen symbol.
• Alteration feature: 1 randomly chosen one-eyed alien symbol is chosen with all instances transforming into another symbol.

Gargantoon 

If you charge all meters fully, the Gargantoon feature will be added to the queue. The Gargantoon character adds a 3x3 wild symbol randomly on the grid. With every cascade, the Gargantoon splits to become two 2x2 wilds.

In the next cascade, it splits again into nine 1x1 wilds. New symbols cascade down from above which fills the grid before each Gargantoon split/move.

If no winning cluster is achieved, a randomly triggered Quantum feature will be triggered. You can of course charge the meters for more Quantum features to drop. The charge meters only reset to zero if no more winning clusters are created.

Instability

On any initial non-winning spin, there is a chance the Instability feature will randomly trigger. The Gargantoon drops 4 to 8 Vortex Wild symbols on to the grid to help form winning clusters.

Giantoonz 

When 4 matching paying alien symbols land adjacent to each other in a square shape, it will automatically trigger the Giantoonz feature and form a Giantoonz. Winning clusters are doubled when the Giantooz is part of it.

Fluctuation

Lastly, Reactoonz comes with a Fluctuation feature. 1 random one-eyed alien symbol type is marked as the fluctuating symbol on each spin. If any of the marked symbols are part of a winning cluster, the will leave 2 Vortex Wilds behind.

The Reactoonz slot game may appear a little complicated but you’ll soon get the hang of things once you get spinning. Demo mode is your friend of course. Quirky, fun and colourful, the key is to land plenty of successive winning clusters which fill the charge meters.
